Hi
WE Usually stay onsite but we are taking a fith person.
Who Has Stayed at Double Tree DTD Recently?
Your Opinions , How were the rooms?
Were all the rooms recently remodeled?
Quientness of rooms?
How small are the double beds?
Would you go again?

Thanks in advance
Jack

Hi, we stayed there for two nights in August of 2003. At that time, I don't think the rooms were recently remodeled, but they were nice. I don't really remember any noise so I would say they were fairly quiet. The beds were average sized. Big enough for two to a bed. It was me, my 7 year old, and two teen daughters. I think the sofa is also full sized.
Now, would I go again? I'm not so sure. The location was great, within walking and viewing distance of DTD. I've never stayed onsite at Disney so I can only compare it to being onsite at Universal. And I would have to say that what is missing is ambience and a theme. I don't want to knock the hotel, because the price is good, and all of my children liked it, but I couldn't get past the whitish streaks on the hallway windows and the booring pool. Another thing that I didn't like, is that they try to get you to do a timeshare when you check in.
The cookies that you get at checkin are the best. Having a mini fridge, table and chairs and coffee maker are a plus. Also you can close off the bedroom from the living area. Oh, I almost forgot, there is also a TV in the bathroom, so three TV's are good too.

Hope this helps, Rachel
