Ok folks, just interested in knowing, out of us DISers here, how many of you have gotten a resort discount postcard in the mail or an email (that requires a pin) in the last month or so?

Just curious what the percentage of folks is since there seem to be a lot of reports of them lately.

I'll be the first to vote...I have NOT gotten one yet, in fact, EVER!

Thanks!!!!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I updated my info over at the disney site and got an email a few days later for $74 at the value resorts.

Bubkis, zilch, nada

I'm happy for everyone, but I'm so disgusted every time I go to the mail box and don't see one.

I received the e-mail the other day. I was thankful to get one but it was no better than the general codes that were already out.

It didn't need a pin, though.

I've gotten 2 in the past year and a half, but of course, never at a time that we had a trip planned or could go! (and we've been 8 times in the past 2 years!)

I got an email about 3 weeks ago. I was able to use it for All Star Sports, the rate is $74. Not as good as the $49 I got for our first trip, but it's better than nothing.

Last summer I got a few postcards. I hope I get at least one this year.

I got a postcard on Wednesday, had my best friends name on it (she went to the world with us twice) but my address. Anyway, it was the postcard for the Moderates at $74 a night, called and booked Port Orleans French Quarter for June 28th for 3 nights and now I see where they are closing POFQ for renovations. I don't really want to stay at POR or CB (have stayed at both) and when I first made my reservation I asked for CS and they were full for that time frame. This is going to be interesting. I was just glad to get a postcard, even if it didn't actually have my name on it.

I have registered for some time now, updated my info and have seen nothing. Maybe they do not send e-mail offers or postcards to non US residents

Thanks
Jason

I got my first (and only) postcard back in January. Pretty good rates although I don't recall what they were specifically.

Got a postcard two weeks ago and got the Poly for April-May for only $199 night plus tax for a GV room!

About 2 weeks ago...But I cant use it :( I am going on vacation in May and was TRYING to work in a few days but it doesnt look like its gonna be possible ...and it REALLY stinks cause I was supposed to go in March but we had to cancel because of illness :(

Oh well...I hope they remember me next year

The email was $124 select deluxes,,,Im guessing that ment AKL...Oh and it DID have a pin.

I got the e-mail (actually two identical ones). There wasn't a pin, but there was a code to request.

It had identical prices for another code I already had for POFQ. Last night I called to change resorts and they said on CSR was available for that code. This morning I used the e-mail code to get CBR (which is what we originally wanted, but wasn't available with the first code). So even though the price wasn't better, the e-mail code worked better for me... different codes, different inventories.:smooth:

Philly Disnynut... almost forgot, this was on the bottom of my e-mail:

I haven't received a postcard, but I did get 2 e-mails. Those rates weren't any different then the codes out now.

My honey got an email code for the All Stars, but I didn't get anything. It's weird because the vacations are booked on my name and I have been signed up with Disney's website for awhile with nothing, but we signed her up so that she could buy something for her niece and she ends up with the offer. Who knows what Disney is doing?!?!?! Mickey

I've gotten two emails over the last 3-4 weeks, both with PIN's. First one got me in WL at $124, the second one got me in POFQ for $74. I jumped at the WL deal and then jumped back to POFQ when I got that rate, now I'm trying to weigh my options due to the closing. Currently I think i can just switch to CBR or POR for the same rate, but I'm holding out hope that maybe I can swift to a deluxe for just a few extra dollars. The closing kind of caught me off guard I'd already changed my ressie 4 times when I found better deals and finally latched on to the one I wanted and now it's out the window.

I have received 3 postcard rates within one week. They were all via e-mail. Last year I received one snail mail and used it. I have received AKL for 94.00, MODS for 74.00 and value for 74.00.
We are going in May!:smooth:
