I love credit cards so much! v7.0 - 2025 (see first page for add'l details)

I found an useful calculator to see if you break even from all the CSR changes.
https://www.asksebby.com/articles/chase-sapphire-reserve-calculator
I'm still wondering about the edit, that's where ill net positive. Also for restaurants, I hope Orlando gets some love on this list eventually because then it would be easier to use vs trying to go to a spot when we are traveling just to use the credit.
Yikes, the calculator mainly shows what a massive coupon book this card has become!

I'm also wondering about the Edit. I PCed my card before the change so I think I'm the first year it'll be a good enough deal, even if I don't use both Edit credits. We'll see after that... I don't want to lose the rental car insurance but I also don't want to hate having to use the coupons

yeah peloton saves me but its crazy I was going to make a spreadsheet last night then I said hopefully someone else has one.
Im still wondering if someone got the pop up I have no need for a sub right now.

I'm considering the CSR card. I currently have the Southwest Business and Southwest Premier. Spend around $100,000 a year on the cards, pay off the balance every month. We fly out of Denver, in the past mostly Southwest, but that is starting to change a bit.

We typically book Disney cruises through Costco, would we be able to book through Chase travel for the 8x points? Would that be a better value than the Costco cash back?

The lounge access, it doesn't look like it's available in Denver. I'm a little confused for the priority pass access which lounges are eligible? We probably fly the most to MCO, is it available there?

Thanks so much!

I still hate all the changes to the CSR and will cancel when my AF increases. But I’m benefiting from the points booster. Rebooked my London hotel and saved 22k points (multiplier 1.75 v 1.5).

My dates aren’t fully open for Germany next year but did find an hotel in Munich on my list with points booster that I could book.

Does anyone know when 3x travel stops on old CSR? Is it when AF increases or in Oct 2025?

https://prioritypass.com/airport-lounges top left corner you can find what lounges are available and what they provide. Chase seems to provide more access than I receive with my Capital One card.

For CSR Priority Pass (Again, lounges might be different for other card issuers such as Citi or Capital One)

Denver
Concourse A
"Golf Den"

They also list Airport Takeout but Chase no longer gives you $$ to use at these places so not sure that these locations really matter.

MCO, Lounges are not near SW
Terminal A, Concourse 1
Gates 1-29
"The Club MCO"
"XpresSpa"

Terminal B, Concourse 3
Gates 30-59
"XpresSpa"

Terminal B, Concourse 4
Gates 70-99
"The Club MCO"

Terminal C
"Plaza Premium Lounge"

I believe it is October.

yes you should be able to but have you cross shopped it? meaning is costco a better price? I just reach out to my travel agent I havent actually shopped anything in a while, I probably should.

October 26th I have a reminder on my calendar to have a new travel card by then.

From what I am seeing, people who held a CSR before June 23 have access to the current 1.5 travel redemption rate until October 26, 2027 (for any points earned before October 26, 2025). They also have access to Points Boost- whatever is the better redemption rate.

While as mentioned above, the Priority Pass lounge at MCO is not on the SW concourse, it is within the same security area, so we usually take the shuttle to the club (gates 70-99) after security, and leave enough time to take the shuttle back and then take the other shuttle to the SW area. It's usually pretty quick, but you have to be careful with the shuttle leaving the club area, there is a sign for which side to take to go to the 100-129 gates, to avoid going through security again.

Thanks for all this info! Are you able to pay for additional people traveling with you?

Dcl pricing is consistent across tas/website.

I book dcl through Costco for the cash back but pay with gift cards. So it’s 8% on the shop card, 2% for being an executive member, plus gift card savings.

Costco travel > Chase travel imo. I have cruises booked with both. Costco is open 7 days a week and they seem significantly more with it.

Nice didnt know it was 8% back that's nice so if you had the 3x its 8%+3x+2%?oh nice i see it at the end that beats the ship credit imo.
do the itineraries drop the same day? can I still do payments the same?
ie 10-20% down then whatever I want until the due dates? Im not team cash back usually but for that rebate.

Did they add DCL? It was removed along the disney resorts years ago from the portal

I took a look today and booked a one night arrival stay at Drury in Disney Springs. I've wanted to try this chain for a while and since they bought the hotel, I've been trying to fit it in. My trip is not until later this year. I did $50 cash to pick up my CSP credit, so with points boost also the price dropped nicely.

Checked a few other spots and found one I might use on a different trip. I've got two Disney trips before year's end but sort of want to keep them at a week's length combined with my DVC. Then I have an end of January trip (DVC) that is longer than I want solo. I will be looking at other dates other places but it's time consuming as I can't filter very well on the Chase site.

Also checked for points boost on my drive down drive back stops. Didn't find any.

Despite my very slow churning, I do buy gift cards (2K today) and this adds a little to the pot. They are building faster than I spend. Just to add, I'm spending organically. My kids and grands are lucky I love them.

Thank you! I had forgotten about the additional 2% executive. So if I book through Costco, would I then just get 1x on the CSR?
