Who has good rates for last minute car rental?

Yesterday, we booked a very last-minute trip for next week. Are there any good last-minute car rental deals out there? Used National in the past with great success, but there doesn't seem to be a good deal this time. Any suggestions?

Both offer discount codes similar to www.mousesavers.com but in some instances there are last minute deals available. bnm.com is showing a weekly rental (full size) for $185 (base rate without taxes & fees) and a minivan for $235/week (again, base rate) from National.

Try using travelnow.com Frequently the rates they have are about as cheap as spending a lot of time trying different codes. Out of the somewhat major companies Thrifty is coming out pretty good.

I got what I think is a good deal from Budget, using a special coupon found on their website under special promotions, Master Card Promotions.

I got 20% off and a 1 class car upgrade. Ended up with a week in a Mercury Marquis for just $227.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I ended up going through National. After many gyrations with different combinations of codes/coupons, etc. (found through Mousesavers and rentalcodes.com - thanks, Eeyore1954!), I was able to reserve an Intermediate for $130.xx for 5 days. That includes all taxes and fees. Because I'm an Emerald Aisle member, I'll be able to snag a bigger car at no extra cost (if there's one left on the lot).
