Who has gone the last week in March?

Who has gone the last week in March (when Easter doesn't fall that week)? How were the crowds? We went Memorial Weekend into early June last year and it was very hot and very crowded. My husband is very reluctant to deal with that scenario again but I want to go back very badly. The UG seems to indicate crowds aren't that bad at the end of March until the week of Easter.

I would greatly appreciate any historical information from all you veterans out there.

This is when we take our primary vacation every year to Disney. We go all through the year but our anniversary falls at this time and it's when our big trip is.

It's very very crowded and miserable during the day. We've seen it very hot and very cold, depending on fronts.

However, the pro's are that the parks are open late (MK until 11:00 every night this year) and from our past experience, it's nice on the late nights because even though it's so crowded, when Wishes ends, everything is pretty much "walk on" except Space Mountain.

We were there in 2000 for last week of March. Crowds seemed better than april crowds. However, our weather wasn't as nice, so could've had something to do with it. We prefer it warm so it's april for us. :sunny:

It's so hard to find a good time. Our school doesn't get out until early June and I can't take vacation from work in July, August, September. That leaves Spring Break week in March or mid-June which are both crowded.

That's when we're going this year. It was hard to choose, but I can't take my son out of school, and going in the summer is not an option for us. We're floridians but we can't take the summer heat. LOL

I really think it's going to be busy, the Disney reservationist took 20 minutes to find me a hotel, and I had to switch my dates from M thru Th (which I originally wanted) to W-S.

So, do you think this is because Easter falls during this week or will it be the same for next year when Easter is in the middle of April? Is it Spring Break crowds that will be there next year also?

I'm not sure. That is where our spring break falls this year, and that usually falls near Easter. I would assume that many other areas have a break near Easter, so that would be why it's so crowded.

we go the last week of march or first week of april each year. It is definately not like the slower times of the year but it is manageable if you plan your days. We always try to hit the attractions we want to see early and then get out of the park in the afternoon, and then return to the park or differant park later that night. Minimize the amount of time you stand in lines and try not to do everything. Planning and Patience is essential at this time of year. Relax, Know everything will be crowded and You'll have a much more enjoyable time. The weather is usually fantastic, although last year was on the chilly side. Never very much rain

We went the same week last year March 21-25. It was not Easter that week. I will be anxious to see how busy it is this year. Last year was busy but definitely doable. I dread this year's crowd.
