This is a fairly new char. meal, and I think my girls might like it. I was hoping you all could tell me more about it. How was the food and the character interaction? Has it become a really popular breakfast, and therefore, hard to get a PS? I'd love to hear any thoughts you have! Thanks, SueSue

We've done it 3 times so far. My little princess loves to dine with the princesses :) The character interaction was good, better with some princesses then with others, but you get that with all characters.
I would say to give it a try, you will probably enjoy it.

I would agree, We have done this a couple of times and have not been disappointed. I believe it is starting to pick up steam as a popular meal but you should have no problem getting what you want. Try it and enjoy.

Always Grumpy

We went last summer the first week it was open and enjoyed it very much. We are not big breakfast eaters so I don't know if we'll go again but my DD was glad we went.

Just curious if some of you experienced folks could tell us newbies how it works. I have been wondering about the times of the breakfast-do you do the breakfast and then go back to front of Epcot that opens earlier? How long can you stay for the breakfast? Which of the princesses did you get to see at this breakfast? When you arrive at Epcot how do you go about getting back to Norway since they may be closed.

We are going to take dd for her 6th bday and I was going to try Cindy's but heard this breakfast was just as nice so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

PSB has 2 main seatings. We had a 9:55 PS and we were about the 5th or 6th family in for that seating. They clear out the restaurant after the first seating, replate everything, and then start with the next seating. The fill the restaurant from one end to the other (since we had one of the first seatings of the second "main seating", we were about 6 tables away from the door that the princesses enter from). We enjoyed it a lot, the food was good, and it was not a problem to get refills. We were not rushed by any means, it probably helped that we were seated near the beginning, so after all the princesses came thru, we could relax and eat. The princesses were Jasmine, Belle, Aurora, Mary Poppins, and Snow White. The interaction was very good.

As far as getting to Norway, we were staying at the BC, so we entered thru the IG and walked the path to Norway. The other sections of WS were roped off, you couldn't go past IG or Norway. If you arrive at the main entrance, you would just walk toward Norway and follow the roped off area (there may also be CMs to direct you, but we didn't see any, maybe because we were later). After the breakfast, yes, we headed back to FW, but we only had about 15-20 minutes before WS opened up.

Just thought I'd add my two cents to hopefully answer a few more of your questions. We had a 10:20 (or 10:10) ps and we were staying at OKW so when we entered the park we just head back toward Norway and had no problem getting back to that area. They even had Malestorm (sp?) open and people were riding it. We waited in the little courtyard to be called and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Boy was I surprised when Cinderella herself made the rounds. I asked her what she was doing out of her castle and she said something about Snow White having to take care of one of the sick dwarfs. It was too cute!

Anyway, I know Cindy isn't always there but we enjoyed her. I remember seeing Belle and Jasmine, Princess Aurora and my personal favorite Mary Poppins too. I think this breakfast is well worth it! We already have our ps for our August trip!

We saw Belle, Jasmine, Mulan, Princess Aurora and Mary Poppins last month. They do not throw you out of the World Showcase after breakfast but nothing else is really open. My niece and nephew did get to play on the Viking Ship there and there were only one or two other kids so they had a really good time.
If you get the first seating, I think it is 8:20am just know that EPCOT does not open before about 8:10am on a non EE day but everyone for the breakfast is in one line, a CM checks off your name and then you walk over to Norway so evryone with the early PS pretty much gets there at the same time. The parking lot at EPCOT didn't open until 8:00am.

I must say that the atmosphere is very nice and the character interaction was great - all of the princesses came around to the table and took time for pictures (and we did not have any kids). But... the food was horrible.... at least in our experience. Maybe we caught them on an "off" day. I would try it again though.

While my DW likes the food at this breakfast, I have to agree that the food is not the greatest.

As for the breakfast itself, we have gone several times. We went once when it had first started and had the greatest experience. It was uncrowded and the princesses spent a ton of time with our kids. I liked it so much that I professed on these boards that it was better than CRT, even though CRT has better food (which doesn't say much about the food at SBP because I don't think the food at CRT is all that good ;)).

We went again last month and I have to say that now that this breakfast has caught on it is right on par with CRT. The place is crowded and the princesses move through rather quickly. All in all, it is a nice opportunity to dine with the princesses, but our visit to CRT was a little better on the last trip.

We were there last week and I think this was my DD7's second favorite meal of the week. The potatoes and the sausage were very good to her. I thought it was OK too. The food was much better than Ohana's which we did for breakfast that week as well.
She ate well that morning. I think kids will eat better than adults here, though. The 'taters were good to me too.

We have a ps for July for 9.45am - so when we have finished breakfast, WS will be almost ready for opening. Will the CM's let kids play on the viking ship until 11.00am so we can be first in WS

You may not be done with breakfast if you are at the end of the restaurant where the characters finish. At our breakfast they all came out from the same place and followed each other around the room.
To answer your original question, I am not sure but I do not think it would be a problem. My niece and nephew and a few other kids were allowed to play as long as adults would let them after we had breakfast in early May. We had the early sitting, were sitting in the middle of the restaurant and finished about 9:15 or so.

We ate at the Norway Princess breakfast in March and loved it! The food was ok (everyone thinks I'm nuts because I didn't like the potatos...) but honestly, who is there for the food?
We were there for Princesses!! And oh boy, we got em. Great character interaction and lovely staff. My nieces talk about it everyday. My sister and I were just as thrilled.

We had a 9:50 seating and we were able to enter the WS and only go as far as Norway (it was roped off). The restaurant was closed for the "reset" so we checked in and were called to go in right on time. We got out just in time to be the first group to ride Malstrom (? spelling), the Norway ride.

I heartily recommend this one. Prior to the trip, I kept referring to it as the "loser" breakfast because I was so disappointed that we couldn't get into CRT. I don't think I'll bother with CRT anymore, this one was lovely.

Enjoy!

We ate there 13 days ago and loved it! I think it was booked, but we had no trouble getting our 8:30 ps. I called around 120 days out.
We had Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Jasmine, Mary Poppins and Mulan. DD's favorite is Mary Poppins, so we were pleased she was there instead of Snow White(who we have seen at CRT and elsewhere in the past). It was a lot of fun to get into WS before the park opened. We look like we own the place in a picture a CM took of us in FW with no one else around :p ! The food was good too, loved the potatoes.
