Who has a short work week this week?

I'm off the whole week.

Hubby (CM at MK) is off Wed & Thurs. :woohoo: His co-workers are so jealous!

Today was my last day and I'm off until Tuesday. I'll need the extra day to recover from the inlaws being here Wednesday til Saturday.

I have a 1/2 day tomorrow and then off Thursday and Friday. :cool1:

Not me! I am working all day Thurs/Fri and 1/2 day Saturday. I don't mind though.:earsboy:

I'm not sure about the banks or the mail but I'm off for the rest of the week!! YAY for being a teacher!!

To those who do have to work: I hope you still get to enjoy your holiday with your family!

Wow! Lots of mini-vacations here.. :)

Why aren't you all heading to Disney? :santa:

Today I'm thankful that I'm a teacher because I get Weds-Friday off plus I got paid early :)

1st grade teacher here :teacher:

I do! I do! We have off Wed.-Fri this week. :yay:

Except for the furlough day we had in October, I think tomorrow will be the first day we've had off since Labor Day.

NOOOOOOO, I need to get AWAY from Disney!!! ;)

We have a half-day or a 3/4 day or a full day tomorrow. They are playing it by ear.

I have Thursday-Sunday off and return Monday.

Monday I took a sick day. Tues and Wednesday suppose work a full day. Thursday and Friday have off work. She might ask for any volunteers to go home work early and all over it. I will be the first one out the door.

I work today but am off the rest of the week. I also took Monday off, as did DBF and we are going to DLR! :)

T-day and the day after are both official holidays for my organization. We get them both off every year. If we are really lucky, they'll clost at 2:30 or 3 the day before. We're all watching our emails very closely right now, let me tell you! :)

Thankfully I'm off till Monday!! I love doing day care, but it's nice to enjoy your family and company for holidays too! :goodvibes

Time to make you all cry.....

I am off:
Thursday 11/25 for Thanksgiving (Holiday)
Friday 11/26 for the day after (Holiday)
Saturday (normal day off)
Sunday (normal day off)
Monday (First day of buck, shutdown, vacation day)

and in a few weeks I am off:
Saturday 12/19 (normal day off)
Sunday 12/20 (normal day off)
Monday (shutdown, vacation)
Tuesday (shutdown, vacation)
Wednesday (shutdown, vacation)
Thursday 12/24 (Holiday)
Friday 12/25 (Holiday)
Saturday (normal day off)
Sunday (normal day off)
Monday (Holiday)
Tuesday (shutdown, vacation)
Wednesday (shutdown, vacation)
Thursday 12/31 (Holiday)
Friday 1/1 (Holiday)
Saturday (normal day off)
Sunday (normal day off)
Monday - Back to work, but with that much shutdown, it is more a figure out what needs done rather than actual work.

21 days off the next month and a half and I only use up 6 days of vacation, or I could have done what many do and start an unemployment claim for all the non-holidays.

We do have a Firewatch shift during our shutdown times. You basically just have to tour the plant checking on the doors and make sure everything is OK. You are not allowed to touch anything that has to do with work because you are the only one in the facility. That means, last time I worked a Firewatch right after Christmas, I had hours and hours to sit in my office and play my newly aquired guitar. Or we bring in our vehicles from outside and wash them reallllllly good. It is encouraged to bring in our vehicles for a wash.

I only worked Mon-Tues my boss gave me the rest of the week off--oh yeah, I am my boss :thumbsup2.

I'm on a 7-day roll which started Monday. I'll leave for work shortly but I don't mind. I always volunteer to cook (long term care facility) on the holidays so that people who have young children can have the day off and this year the kitchen needed help right through Sunday so...

My employer has been cutting hours every which way so I grab what I can when I can;) DD will go to her Dads for the weekend and I know she'll have a great time there so I have no guilt:)
