Who got the new Passporter?

Is the 2004 very different from the 2003. I know it's got colored maps, new stickers, and tabs....but is there enough new info to justify getting it? I'm trying to decide if we need a new one or just use last year's?

I'm already working on the planning sheets that someone made on the disboards and use Tourguidemike for itinararies.

Thanks!

sullins5 if you get the deluxe version it looks like a dayplanner and you can then add the new years book to it. There is also a spiral version as well. Check out www.passporter.com and you should be able to get a discount as well as order directly. The 2004 passporters aren't in bookstores yet and I don't think they will be for another month or so.

Atotty this years book was updated quite a bit. There were a lot of changes at WDW this past year as well as all the new stuff they have added to make the book easier to use. All of the magical memories are updated as well. I think it would be worth buying the new passporter.

Thanks Bobcat -
Thanks for the info on where to get the passporter- I wonder - with all the guides out, do you/everyone think this is the best? We haven't been since 2001, and I have always bought Birnbaum's, and have looked at the unofficial. Was gonna buy just one for this year, so is Passporter the one to get ? I get so busy looking at all the Disney stuff, I can easily forget lifes everyday chores - it's like getting caught up in a good book, only you don't want to put it down because your gonna be part of it!!:) :) :)

We probably won't go back next year - ( but we say that everytime) -

Thanks-

I vote for the Passporter! Have bought the unofficial guide before, and also surf the Dis boards and other sites, but can't wait to get my deluxe edition.
One thing I like is that even though I am on here a lot right before a trip, my husband doesn't really plan until the car ride down, so until we have wireless internet (lol), we need the book. I give everyone a different colored highlighter to use to highlight what they want to do-- three out of four becomes a definite, and everyone feels like they helped to plan the trip, which cuts down on whining. Then I can have a real vacation!

That's tough if you are only buying one. I think the passporter and the UNooficial guide compliment each other very well. I use my passporter to plan and keep all my info while I rely on my Unoficial guide as a great book to read. Together with the DISboards and Allearsnet I have everything I could ever hope to plan my trip. Well except for more money. LOL

Got mine last week and the pockets are already stuffed, the information has all been transferred and written out and we are good to go. Are we there yet? Almost! Whoo Hoooo the excitement is really building now.

I loved all 3 of the guides I purchased and the pages on my Unoffical Guide and Birnbaum's are well paged through. The Passporter is my organizational guide. Dh was freaking a little that I was putting everything in one place.
He said he was worried it would get stolen and we would lose everything. I just smiled and nicely said "Yes, it would be much safer to have things all over the place and not be able to find what you need." Sometimes, I think he just doesn't get it :D :D :D

Be careful with it. That did happen to a woman on the disneydollarless mailing list last month. She even had all her connections vouchers stolen with it. Someone broke into her car and grabbed a bag that had her Passporter and all her stuff.

She said she got her book back when she got back from her trip because a very nice woman found it and left a message for her from the info she found inside.

Thanks for the heads up. I totally understood his concern it just didn't make sense to me to have things in different places. I am leaving copies of everything with my parents in case we run into problems and I am sleeping with my Passporter under my pillow ;)
