Who got the new Passporter?

That's it! Wow...it's really in there! Thanks for the information lasmickey :)! I haven't gotten mine yet, so haven't seen it for myself. NEVER thought in a million years that Passporter would publish anything I sent in....you just never know.

My children (I have another boy and girl, so four all together) have been converted to true Disney-lovers since then, and they think we should take a Disney family vacation EVERY year now! We just got BACK from a December trip (their second), and my 3-year old keeps saying, "When it's December....we're going to Disney Worowd!"

I cannot wait for mine! I should get it next week. I have a "magical memory" in there. :hyper:

I'm supposed to have a magical memory in there too! Were you told a specific time it would be mailed by? My letter just said it would be mailed within a month of its release date.

Exciting isn't it? I don't think I'll believe it's in there though until I see it myself. :earseek:

I e-mailed them at the beginning of this week to request refill pages instead of the spiral edition. The reply said that my Passporter would be shipped this week, with arrival sometime next week. Hopefully, yours will be delivered then too.

Congratulations! And make sure you tell me who/what to look for with your "magical memory". I agree....it won't seem real until I see it with my own two eyes :earseek: !

SuBeat ~ Tell us a little about your magical memory too (or what name it's listed under, or a page number or something)! It's neat to be able to read them and know that they are from fellow DIS'ers! Congratulations! You guys are REALLY lucky!

Got mine in the mail yesteday and breezed through it last night. I can't wait to start writing in my 2004 stuff!
It looks great.
My last two (2000 and 2002) are stored away and were so full I had to put big elastic bands around them!

I bought the 2000 Passporter for or last trip and found it very useful. For a person that only goes to WDW once every 4 years or so (yes, there are other cool places to vacation), is the Deluxe version worth it? I would think the Deluxe is only worthwhile for the ability to add refills in later years, but I'm willing to read other opinions.

We only visit Disney every 2-3 years and I bought the deluxe this time. I love the bound planner idea. I use one for my other "hobby" and love having everything nice and neatly packaged. When I'm carrying it with me, no one even knows it's a Disney planner. I like that I can remove unnecessary pages and still have them usable if plans change. Right now we're planning to stay offsite, but plans could change. I took out all the resorts pages (if we stayed onsite I'd take out all the pages except for those covering my resort) and now have lots of room in the binder. I did tear pages out of my 2000 spiral bound, but once they're torn out, they aren't usable. So if plans had changed, I would have been out of luck.

My main thing was that I liked having it in a binder. Makes me feel organized, I guess. If you're not sold on the binder idea, I'm sure the spiral will be fine.

My magical memory is about my DD (then 5) feeling the mist from the water at Fantasmic, and asking me if I could "feel some magic get on me."

I have no idea what page it might be on since I don't have my book yet, but if anyone has actually seen it in there I would love to hear it. Seems like so long ago that I mailed in the release...

I just received my yesterday. This is the first time that I have purchased one. I haven't really had a chance to take a good look at it yet. I decided to get one since I had read such great reviews on it. It looks to me like it will be very helpful with setting up my itinerary for my next trip.

Got a Borders gift card for Christmas and decided to get my very own! Can't wait to check it out!

SuBeat ~ I saw it! It's on page 198! What a great magical memory!! I LOVED that one! Made me smile just picturing it! :)

OK, with access to this site...

and as often as we go to wdw, WHY do you need a guidebook?

I can't think of anything that book could tell me that I can't find out here

Also, is it still written by the couple from Ann Arbor, MI and their child?

When I dont have access to the internet its nice to peruse. To me its much easier to open a book than to get on the internet and either search a site or post a question.
Also the deluxe comes with organizational pockets and such to keep all my confimation #s airline tickets etc...in order.
Lastly you cant curl up in bed with the DISboards.

Got mine yesterday - ordered late night on 1/3 and received it by UPS on 1/8. Wow what great service. I ordered the deluxe refill so it's fun to replace my pages from the 2001 version. Also ordered the Hidden Mickey's book from Passporter site. Fun - has scavenger hunts - should be a great time on our May trip with my two dds (16, 11).

Can't wait to start completing my pockets.

SuBeat--your magical memory is such an 'awwwww' moment. I loved it!!

I ordered my Passporter on the 30th of December, and got it on January 6th!!!

I have all my new pages in it, and have started transcribing all my notes, PS #'s, plans, park hours, parade times, etc etc etc since we leave in 7 days!!!:bounce: :hyper:

While I have access to this site, my dh doesn't "like" using the internet. However, I do want input from him on planning our vacation. Of the 3 guidebooks I own, the Passporter provides easy to read descriptions of attractions and restaurants and has a built in space for him to mark which ones appeal to him. I'm not a spreadsheet person, so I appreciate all the worksheets so I can make notes to myself. And I can't imagine not having the pockets in the back.... I'm a collector and love looking at my receipts and other memorabilia.

Thanks for letting me know that it's REALLY in there! Can't wait to see it for myself! :earseek:

We purchased the 03 passporter and will probably buy the 05 one when it comes out

We buy the Unofficial guidebook every year - opposite of some who buy passporter every year and another guidebook less often

thanks
