Who feels like a threadkiller - Take 4!

I made pepper steak for dinner tonight. After dinner my DD17 and I went outside to play in the snow. We had sooo much fun. The snow is so deep from all the haevy storms we've had this year. We made snow angels, climbed snowbanks and slid down them and took a walk around the neighborhood. Tomorrow we are supposed to get a mix of snow and ice. I wish it were just snow. I want to take the day off and go sledding!

I hope you're safe and snuggly warm in all that snow. We're supposed to have rain for the next 4 days - it's here, but slightly north of us right now. We'll be getting it soon!

Well I see our tickers are not showing for me again

We are snowed/iced in...here. Thank God I dont have to go anywhere today..I got called off from work yesterday..We got about 8in. or more..its hard to judge with all we already had...and with Mike gone ..I am doing ALL the shoveling... Woke up to ice on top of all the snow this morning..so I had to break it up before I could shovel again...Man the ice makes it all so much more heavy!

My dinners have been simple for the last few days... Monday I found a small lobster newburg pie at Price Chopper and had it for dinner Monday night, and lunch yesterday, Last night I cooked a frozen veggie pizza in the oven..It was just OK. This morning I weighed myself and I can tell you this week without MIke is not good for me. Being snowed in isnt helping..I get bored and go look in the fridge...I need to put a lock on it
Today I am gonna try try just eat salads...

I have been putting Dream pics on my screensaver, and wallpaper, I still had pics from my Maui trip...It was time to update... Gonna go find nice pics of CC and the parks to add.

We went to visit with Mike and Lori's last Sunday..and It was just too cute...as soon as we walked in the door, Little Rita grabbed my hand and said "come on lets go talk Didnee" trying to drag me over to the kitchen table where we told them they were going!.. So I put on the Disney parks video they show on netflixs...Kateri, Bill, and Rita watched it the whole time we were there...They are soo excited..Kat keeps saying she doesnt want to wait til after summer( Aug)...Sooo cute!

Well Mike says they have gotten quite a bit of bad weather in KC. A lot od abandoned cars all over the place, and highways shut down. They even brought the classes to his hotel, instead of making them go out to take them.
and stopped the classes, mid day yesterday, so he didn't have much to do. ..There are a bunch of shops in the Hyatt, but most were closed because of the weather..For dinner he and his coworker ate at the "sky something" at the top of the hotel that revolves, like the one in NF Robin, Liz and Mike and I went to, but he couldn't see a thing..just a lot of white...Too bad the view must be nice in good weather. Missing him BIG time.

Being alone for a couple of days makes me talkative I guess....LOL





Going to go get more coffee, and add a log to the fire...

Definitely an ice day here! City Hall closed so I don;t have to go into work and I closed my private office too. DH works at a hospital so no snow days for him!

We got quite a bit last night and it was sure whipping around in the wind. It is not snowing right now but I think we are supposed to get some more later.

Thanks! It took a bit of tweaking but I think I got it...I still cant get to the others site......Oh well I guess I'm not destined to use that one.

Good morning everyone. The snow slowed quite a bit by mid morning yesterday. We actually did not get all that much. Still took me an hour to shovel the driveway though. We only have a single wide driveway which is about all I can handle. I told Rick if we are going to move there better be money in the budge for a snow blower. I am NOT shovelling a double width driveway.

Well, Mike's home. No delays ..He even arrive in Binghamton earlier then expected...He did say that the pilot from KC, to Detroit, thought he was driving a race car...and flying very low...said it was not his best flight...he was very happy to be on ground But the last flight was fine. Its good to have him back

We are going to watch all the shows I DVRd while he was gone and have a Sat. showday!
