Who feels like a threadkiller - Take 4!

Hello TKers
Looks like everyone had a good weekend...

We had a great weekend...
Got a lot of work done..cleared out a part of our woods, in our back yard, and turned it into a swing area..
hung a bench swing, an older child swing, and a baby swing, from a few trees..

We also made a BBQ pit, for a grad party we are going to throw for Julia this coming Sat...
Her graduation is at 11AM, and the party is at 4PM..We are going to have chicken spiedies, and grilled veggies...also hot dogs for the kids who would rather have them..and of course a cake..
We will probably have about 25+ people...We have a volley ball set, and are hoping to get our hands on a horseshoe set, if we can find someone who has one we can borrow..
It should be a fun time!...
In the mean time I worked today, 8hrs..I will work tomorrow, 5hrs., I'm off weds., but I have an interview at a veterinarian at 6PM...(pray for me to get the vet tech job)..Then I will be working Thursday , and Friday...
So Mike is doing most of the work for the party...MY MAN!

Hey Kim.

Just decided today that we are heading to Chicago tomorrow afternoon. We will be staying the night near O'Hare airport and then Wednesday morning we have machinery to look at and will be going straight home afterwards.

We are planning on going out to dinner at the Spaghetti Warehouse on Busse tomorrow night. Not sure what time we will be arriving though.

If you are interested in joining us or want me to call you after dinner let me know.

Maybe we can arrange something?

Liz is planning on coming along with us for the trip.

If not maybe we can just find a suitable meeting spot and get together for a few hours.

If we can't meet up for dinner, or after, maybe breakfast or lunch Wed? Where are you looking at machinery? Rosemont? Lots of places to go there! I see Spaghetti Warehouse in Elk Grove, is that the one? If you're staying near O'Hare, depending on which side, N S E or W, there are a TON of restaurants around there! CALL ME!!!

I believe we are staying at the Super 8 on Touchy, but Rick made the reservations so I'm not sure.

I think it's at Elmhurst and Touhy area. Which according to MapQuest is all of 16 minutes from your house

The machinery we are looking at is literally right off the end of a runway at the airport. Last time I was in the parking lot of the building and the jets were taking off very low over my head.

The sun is shining here so far but the grass is wet from last nights storms so I probably won't get it cut before we go away today.

Yep, it is a short time now! Everything is ready..... I think it's just the anticipation that's killing me now. All went well with the business and with our dinner with Kim.

Tomorrow we are leaving with the trailer.

Oh gee, like I don't know what that's like?!@?@? We had 16 people going 3 years ago and, I handled it ALL! You DO have my activities and wheels spinning tho!

TKs, for the record, after our October trip this year, Rory & I will be EQUAL with 7 trips to WDW! Mine took about 18 years! Rory's have taken 3! Who's the FANatic, expert now??

Robin is referring to the Miller Lite t-shirt she gave me that had a SOX symbol on the sleeve! Hey, her heart was IN the right place, with me, and Miller Lite! Sox, tho? LOL

Well, Kim that's okay because you forgot to mention the fact that the tshirts Rick received in a gift bag at an airplane competition about 2 years ago along with the can opener.

So I'm the last of the big spenders

They were all Miller related and I happened to know that Kim is a fan ( ) So I kept them for just the right time to give them to her
