The next least expensive for earlier in Aug. would be Aug. 1st. Its about 500.00 more.

If everyone is OK with the 15th then so am I.

Rory's kids would be fine, they start after Labor Day. I might have a problem adding days at WDW to the end of the cruise tho (not a cruise problem tho). I don't even know at this point which HS Kelly will be going to. She may start as early as late Aug, or after Labor Day at a public school. If the 15th is cheaper - go with it!

I'd like to change my res. ASAP as I see a lot of the rooms seem to be booked already ( unless they don't release some until later???)..and I'm picky..I like the middle of the ship for my room...(Less motion)..and a balcony...

So IF we do this cruise date... We will probably go to WDW before..We normally take 10 day vacations... So I'm thinking we will go to the world on the 10th of Aug, Stay( five days) til the 15th, cruise the 4 days and head home right from there on the 19th... That would get Mike back to work on the 20th(Monday)and me on Tuesday..So both of us will only have to take 6 days off...LOOKS GOOD!

Okay - threadkillers. You're not going to believe this, but the August 2012 4 day Dream cruise price was so good that I'm pushing back the London trip and booked the cruise! I hope you don't mind me being so wishy-washy....but I can't wait to see you!

I contacted the sisters and they were both a no. I figured they would be. Tinknutt & her hubby are starting to RV again and will be doing that for a while. SWHNN is going on a huge European Cruise this summer and her daughter is getting married weeks before the cruise, so she'll be exhausted and (I suspect) broke!

So...who's figured out how many days until the cruise?

I think it is pretty definite that I will book also for that date.

The cruise leaves on a Wednesday which leaves the beginning of the week to maybe do some Disney World days. Have to see if I can talk Rick into that too.

I can't wait to have us all on a ship together.

I don't like the idea of not being able to access my own reservation whenever I want to. I guess I like having that control. I've done my own bookings for years now.

A group is based on the number of beds.

Standard requirement is 10 beds or 5 cabins.

Let me send a message over to the boss and see if my taking over is even worth the trouble. ESP since a price discount isn't involved. I will come back and update you all after Beci answers me. Go ahead and update your reservation dates Betsy and Robin, go ahead and book if you are ready. Yes, my taking over will limit your access to reservations so I will get back to you all as soon as I can.

No I have not booked anything yet.

But I probably will soon. I don't want to take a chance that the category I want will no longer be available and then the prices will be higher.

When I book, I do it online with the DCL website.

And to answer your question if it is common to book so far out?

It seems that an awful lot of people do.

Rick and I don't tend to book our cruises that far away. Maybe 5 or 6 months out at the most but sometimes a lot closer to departure date than that even.
