Kim,
I think these rooms are going faster, because its a new ship, and everyone wants to make sure they can get what they want...
Also the rate will go up as we get closer to sail date, and rooms/cats fill up.

I wanted to make sure I could get in the very middle of the ship with a balcony(less motion), because I have always had a seasickness problem. As it is I will be taking a Dramamine everyday of the cruise.
Last TKer cruise I forgot to take it the last day, and was so sick I missed the last dinner...I was VERY bummed.
If you are going to try for a connecting, you may want to consider booking early.

I got Colleens PM, she has quite a list of cool perks, but I'm not sure if we would have to choose one or two, or we get them all, or what.
I have asked her a few questions, and awaiting her reply...
Ill let her run it by you all, what ever everyone decides, I'll go with.

I have also asked her how late in the res. process can she take it over?...Maybe we can keep control thru most of the time and have her take over later. That way we can still get the perks, she can get her commission and we can have the control until closer to the sailing time.

This is all so exciting, I'm so glad that you all have come on-board!...


Work today, but not til 1PM.
I have a ton of laundry to do, and a sink full of dishes, so my morning is all planned.

Biggest perk I think for booking early is better prices. Even if availability is there, the longer you wait the higher your price will be.

I can take over any reservation that is not already paid in full.

I hope you are well and having a great day! We have abundant sunshine today and we're gonna hit 60! Yeah! This week is going to be fairly nice, but I won't stop complaining until it hits 80...

I've got some more pics of Sunny to share - they are from my iphone, so I can't promise quality. Here we go...

Sunny was playing in the sunshine and I laid down in front of her and snapped this one....it's one of my favorites.

We have a towel down for her to sleep on...add Tom's socks and viola! Instant napping spot!

After!!! *although she's not as fluffy because she's a wee bit wet on the top of her head*. Queen of Cuteness is back to her usual fluffiness now!

Albert is due for a bath, You have inspired me. I think it will be a Sunday bath day for him...He dosen't mind it at all, as a matter of fact he likes the towel rub and blow dryer...

Its was 7.4 degrees this morning here, and its a balmy 28 right now...

We were pretty busy today at work, which I like ..It makes the time fly!
Saw a dog that was a little bigger then Sunny...A great Dane, his back came to the owners waist...BIG DOG!..But very friendly.

Man I woke up with a sinus headache today, took some meds....Hope they start to work soon!

Colleen could probably answer this question better than I, but I think the least expensive cats with balcony are cat 6, we have a 5d, they are a bit more, I can only guess that its because they are in the middle of the ship, Im thinking that 6s are on the ends. I would look for deck 6 ( the middle of the ship hightwise) or higher.
and Yes I'm thinking you want to book together, because you pick your room/rooms when you book, or maybe they would just assign you rooms if you don't book together...Not sure on that ?

I was looking at the connecting rooms with the balconys!( not that i needed one)They are cool. You can take the divider away on the balcony, so you can have one big balcony to go back and forth between the rooms on, and dont need to bother with the hallway.

Go to the DCL site, it gives all kinds of neat info!

Well we are going to look at loveseat recliners today! It's our Christmas present to each other, and we are Just now getting around to getting one...LOL

Right now, you might be ok to book seperate because it's still early enough that you can still choose your cabin. The only cabins that get chosen for the passengers are the GTY cabin categories. The GTYs are category specific not cabin specific.

If you want a deck level recommendation, if you want a verandah, I like decks 5-7. They are literally mid level in price and location. I am almost upset with myself for moving us up from the deck 5 cabin Mom chose to the deck 7 I moved us up to. Why? Deck 7 verandahs off the back (bow?) stick out further and I like my sunshine. What I didn't realize was that deck 5 might be shaded but it also has the perfect view of the Sorcerer Mickey that hangs out back there.


On my first cruise Mom had booked on deck 7 mid ship. This year we are on deck 7 but directly on the back of the ship. My ex boss (from the high school) is actually in the adjoined cabin next to us. I can tell you for sure in about a month if the verandah wall opens up or not

If you choose a cabin you want Rory to be next to, and someone else comes in and books it from under him - as long as there are others available when he does book in the same category - you should be able to move. I would recommend tho, if you really want to be adjoined, he reserve when you do.

Dunno if Rory knows this, but DVC points can be used for cruising.

Betsy is right, you should check out Disney's webpages for DCL. There is a ton of info there about the Dream. Any questions you all have, by all means, please feel free to ask

John and I got "us" a Wii for Christmas. It's been forever since played video games. Im likin the Wii. We only got sports games tho. I wanna go get the Mickey game and maybe dance revolution. Wii fit is on the shopping list for me now too.

Well we bought a nice espresso Brown reclining love seat. Its very comfortable. It will be delivered on Wednesday.

Then took the girls to Friendly's, before taking Brittany to work. It was a nice day.

NO CHEAP WAY AROUND THIS. Watch for sales. Amazon has great video game sales as well as Target.

I bought James "Epic Mickey" for Christmas. I cannot for the life of me figure it out. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DIFFICULT. Then again I am soooo Video game Stooooopid.

Good Morning all,
I am not a football fan, so it matters not to me who wins...

I am a crazy person, I have just added Rita to the DGCs coming with us to WDW this Aug. Its her Birthday on the 10th of Aug. and we will be leaving for WDW on the 14th....How can we NOT take her too???? SO as a Birthday present she will come with us...
So it will be Billy 7, Kateri 6, and Rita 5...Im am looney I tell ya... LOL
