Who feels like a threadkiller - Take 4!

With Brenda's schedule, I would lean towards 8/4.

Passports are not "required" if you carry a state issued id (drivers license) and your official birth certificate. But. As was said, if something happens, you cannot get on any other method of transport without a passport. I would say just get one.

Brenda and I agreed to share. It would def be just girls.

Brenda wants to ask her sister, we also discussed asking Aisling. You are more than welcome to share with us Ann if you want. At this point, I would gladly keep a bunk open for you.

Looking at the prices......I have to bow out. I am planning to go to England August 2012 and can't do both. Our daughter is moving to England soon and Patty and I made plans for me to spend a month overseas..... May prices were better but you have to go with the time that works best for everyone. Maybe next time

I have a suggestion to make, take it or leave it, whatever you all want to do with it.

Would you consider doing a 4 day cruise on the Dream instead of the 7 day cruise on the Fantasty:confused3

I would have less trouble justifying the cost of the shorter cruise. Also that opens options of other sorts....... a couple days at Disney possibly?

The August 15, 2012 4 night cruise prices are this:

1471 for 2 people Cat 11
1486 for 2 people Cat 9
1830 for 2 people Cat 6.

There are also other dates in the month of August that might work.

If we switched to the shorter cruise, would it maybe be better price wise for you Ann?

Wait I see that you are planning on going to England in August 2012, so that probably will not work at all for you either.

Price is great......but honestly I have to choose between one or the other.....a month in England or a 7 day cruise - I LOVE you, threadkillers but the choice wasn't too difficult. We'll have lots of pics to post anyway!

I have to agree with Robin, and Ann...The May prices are a lot better...I think its a 600. difference..for A Cat 6...
:guilty:

The 5 night DD cruise for the 10th of Aug.
Hummm quite a bit more,...
Cat 11 $2,162.34
Cat 9 $2,152.34
Cat 6 $2,572.34

Than, Aug, 15
"1471 for 2 people Cat 11
1486 for 2 people Cat 9
1830 for 2 people Cat 6."
This one may be more doable for everyone...

well everyone think on it a bit...
As I said before I would just like to get as many of us together as I can...

DU - I was already married when that happened! I would rather be a beggar with Tom than rich with anyone else. But the Maserati was beautiful!

aWWWWWWWWWWWW THATs SWEET:cloud9:! NAIVE! BUT SWEET!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

See ya coulda married Mr Maserati for the cash, and then had Tom as your side dish boy toy!!!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:
:3dglasses

Now why dont people listen to me when I try to pry into their lives?:headache:

So when you all pick the final dates, don't worry about us. I asked my girls what they thought about a disney cruise instead of Cape Cod and the reaction wasn't positive!:scared1: I'm ok with that thought, because although I would love to meet you all, I would definitely miss our Cape Cod vacation if we were to miss it!

:thumbsup2 Work$ for me. Being my 1st cruise, less days might be better for me. :rolleyes1 I hope it's ok I mentioned this to Rory also. He said to keep him posted, which I will. Would also LOVE to add WDW too!

OK...Lets get our thoughts together....:)

 Prices are quite high for these cruises.
:confused3 I don't know Betsy.
Those prices are just killing me, although it would kill me more if you were all onboard and I couldn't come too. :guilty: It's hard to put a price on that :goodvibes
May prices were better but you have to go with the time that works best for everyone. Maybe next time
OK, we have determined, that the 7 day cruise for the July Aug. dates are too high and May (the original date) is not the best date for everyone( Brenda, PD, and Kim, wouldn't be able to go then)

whoooooooooooo hooooooooooooooo i wanna go.
DU,
If you are interested in going what say you on the dates and the prices???

As soon as we hammer down the date, I'm ready to book! It's still May 2012...right? I'm SO excited to cruise with everyone again! The sooner we book - the more rooms available!
Price is great......but honestly I have to choose between one or the other.....
So Ann, if we stuck to our original(May) date, with the seven day cruise., or Maybe June??? if we made it on the dream (4-5 night cruise), would you still be able to go?
:yay: Kelly & I - Interested! :yay:
Can't do May tho. Kelly doesn't graduate until early June. Was there an 8/4 date? That would be better for us, as I don't know exactly when school will start later that month. July ok too.
Kim, I know you said that the shorter cruise in Aug. would be good....Could you do a later cruise in June?

Did they have late June prices?....I'll go look :teleport:

It is something to think about at least.

So the question is who is still interested in going...IF We made it the shorter cruise on the Dream, later in June???

Who still opts for the Aug cruise , on either the 7 night or the 4 night?...

and who is opting out no matter what?...

I have to say that the original 7 day cruise in May, or the 4-5 day on the Dream at any time are where I am leaning, BUT as I keep saying, I just want to get as many TKers together as poss with me on the cruise I end up taking.....

Soooo, help me out here TKers:flower3:...:grouphug: A 2012 cruise wants you!

OK, and we will miss you....but the dates are not final yet....So keep checking and if we come up with something you can work with, give us a shout....:thumbsup2

Here are the prices for June on the Dream...for 2 adults

Ill do June 10th on...
June 10th & 15th- (5 day cruise with two stops at CC.)
cat 11, $1,812.34
Cat 9, $1,902.34
cat 6, $2,262.34

June 20th (4 day cruise)
Cat 11, $1,750.34
Cat 9, $1,742.34
Cat 6, $2,078.34
( only a 200.00 difference here from the 5 day for cat 6, less for the 11, & 9's)

They also have the 24th and the 29th, 5 day sailings, but they are a higher price...But if the 24th, or 29th dates are better for all, then Im fine with that too!
Within these dates I like the 15th the best I think...JMHO

Would these dates/prices be more doable for those who are not so sure of the others????

Betsy, I'm not so fussy on the date, the month doesn't matter so much to me. So June or August...... whatever works best for most people is fine.

I'm mostly concerned about the price and for that, the shorter cruise works best.

I also agree with Kim for her reasonings. Always best to start with a shorter cruise if you have not experienced it yet.

I would also like to say that of all the cruises I have taken, I think my absolutely favourite one was the Tker cruise in 2007. :goodvibes

I too would go with best price...

Ditto with having Rory and Fam join us.

If the TKers do June, I might still cruise with Brenda cause she is already planning on sailing the Fantasy in Oct. Spreading it out like that for me would be perfect~
