I've had a quiet day so far. Met my friend for walking, had a fountain soda, cleaned the kitchen, showered and I'm getting ready to head to the library.

Had a GREAT time at the cake decorating class. That Royal Icing is something...temperamental, but way cool.

WHY? BUT WHY CANT DELIVER PEOPLE COME ON TIME??????

Hospital Bed Delivery is suppose to be before Noon (yes it's 11:20am), and the Guy coming to install the Chair for the stairs is suppose to come at noon.

Will I have to turn the Bed delivery away if he comes late....stayed tuned for further developments!

I gotta go to my old bank. I was told if a credit came thru on a closed account it would kick back to the originator. (I've been waiting for the cruise refund.) As I expected, they never kicked it back. Now I gotta go up there but they'll give me the refund right then and there. Banks. IMHO. As bad as a good politician.

Well now the Chair on the stairs guys showed up (on time) and I dont know where the Bed guy is, but he will have too come back!!!!!
They SWORE they will be here before Noon! Its 12:30 now.

It's a beautiful day here today and the weather for the weekend is looking even better.

We have decided that we are taking the trailer out for one last weekend (since it's a long weekend too).

We are only going to our local flying field, so 20 minutes away. But now I've got to scramble and get the stuff ready that we will need for the weekend.

Well, guys, I did it.

I hired myself a lawn service this morning.

We'll give it a try and see how it goes. I'll probably love it though

No! They are from far away & got here on time. The Bed people are 1 mile away.

the weather network says it's 64º outside right now.

I'm out there in shorts and t shirt and it feels great

Sure feels a lot warmer than that, especially in the sun.

I have the cleaning service coming on Monday, and then the following monday they come back to do all the windows!

OMG! Colleen - those last 3 pics of Penny are adorable! The cakes look yummy....can I have a slice? Thanks for sharing pics! I name my cars, too. My current car is called Lance Trueheart. My previous one was Quaranta-Due (42 in Italian) and the one before was Tonto Fish...before that? ROY.

DU - You have a LOT on your plate (any room for cake? TW has some!). Good luck with getting everything done. Do you have a regular cleaning service? I would LOVE to have one...it's the one thing I can't talk DH into yet...but I'm trying!

Robin - you will LOVE having a yard service. It's so nice to know you don't have to go out and do the yard when you're not in the mood. It's 84 out and I'm wearing shorts, too. If it was 64, I would be wearing jeans and a turtleneck and probably a jacket.

Tom and I took a nap at 1pm and didn't wake up until 4:40! So....we immediately got up and got me a fountain soda! We have our priorities, you know! I've got to scoot....it's time to make dinner and I have NO idea what to make - nothing inspires me and Tom isn't going to McDonald's 2 days in a row - I guarantee it! When I'm not in the mood to cook, there is a possibility you can starve at my house!
