Go back to work tonight. Still got lots to do, write Thank you notes, deliver the wheelchair, walkers etc to local nursing home..etc. Taking a break from it today.

However I did give the Laundry lady Moms clothes & Shoes this am....Mom had dozens of shoes ...ALL SIZE 10!!!! Luckily the Laundry Ladies DD has size 10 feet!

When I dropped off James last night, I noticed that Makenzie (Who just got her own room) STILL did not have new Bedding. I was told before Christmas that her Grandparents were getting her that for Christmas.

Just ordered all new TinkerBell Sheets, comforter, dust ruffle , TB lamp, TB Wall decor...DA WORKS. Should all be here by Thursday, so I will clean it all first (cause Makie got the excema...besides I alway have to wash everything before I wear or use it ) I will pick up pillows & blanket in WalMart. Then bring it all down on Friday when I pick up James.

If Mom saw that babies bedding..it would kill her! All old threadbear crap. No reason for it.

Post 3000!

I hit post 3000 twice in the last week. I did this on the secret green club too, but there it was on purpose!

But that means that soon they will be shutting our threads down again and we will have to start all over

I wish they wouldn't have to do that. It was so much nicer when everything was all in one spot together.

When one of the kids move out maybe I will take over their room and do it up in style

I've spent many hours in the past couple of days backing up my pictures off my computer.

It's been a long while and I just thought I'd better get it done.

Sure wouldn't want to lose them all if something were to happen to the computer.

Hows everyone doing?...

We have been busy cutting back on bills as much as we can...

Mike and I went out today to change our car ins. carrier..as the other was not as good pricewise as it use to be...we will be saving about 1100.00 a year by changing to the new one... ..
So glad we finally got that done,. If I had known how much we would be saving we would have done it way sooner.....

We changed our cell phones too...went from verizon, to a tracphone ...it will save us about 50.00 a month...AND we get reception with the tracphone here when we didnt get it with the other...

The only thing I wasnt thrilled to cut back on was my hot tub...as we emptied it and closed it down ....I will miss it, but we can always fill it again when Mike gets another job...Hopefully soon...

Anyone need a "realtime software engineer"?

Im looking in the fields of, animal care, cashier, cook and the like. Unfortunately after not needing to work for over 30 years..I dont have much to put on an application..

Oh well...Im sure it will all work out in the end.

John got the call on Penny. The doctor said she is glad we didn't wait any longer, (not that I wanted them to wait even this long ) her intestines were pressing on her kidneys and coulda caused some damage. She is sore and stitched but they say ok.

DU, you still looking to go to DC? I got a list of hotels if you tell me what your spending level and location preference is. (Moreso your spending level cause they go from $150 to $400 a night all in the same area.)

Betsy, I hope you and Mike have luck in your search. I am curious how close local commerce is to you up the in the sticks??? Mike's specialty has *got* to be a benefit to someone. Make sure you check Monster.com and Careerbuilder.com or whatever local job site you have out your way..like we have Phillyjobs.com.

I got a Valentines card from Sharla Whalen today!

She said she and her daughter were at Disney during Christmas and couldn't be bothered with Christmas cards, she was sending Valentine cards instead.

DU~ Don't forget to take pics of the Tinkerbell set up. I'm sure it will be gorgeous!! I'm jealous! If I had my way hubby would be sleeping in Tinkerbell sheets.

We just bought my neice a couple of tinkerbell pj's. They're so cute! Walmart has a great selection! Oh yea got me a pair of Tinkerbell pj's too...

Robin - When Tinknutt's son left home she made a room just for herself all in Disney and put the computer in it! It was a lovely haven for her...you certainly deserve one!

Well, I went to Whole Foods for grocery shopping, cleaned, read and spent a quiet day. I'm meeting Mary for lunch on Thursday....I think I may bake a cake tomorrow for her....we'll see how my mood is!

Ann, I finally got my Kitchen Aid mixer. Hubby got it for me for Christmas. I baked so many cookies this past Christmas. The family and co-workers enjoyed them all.

I think it's called a Sea Donkey. Brother in Law got the recipe off of Guy's Big Bite on Food network and wanted to try it out on us.

Cally - Don't you just LOVE your mixer?! Wait til you get the food processor - what a time saver! I'd love to have the recipe for the Sea Donkey. My sisters and I tried an awesome green drink called an Alien Secretion. It had coconut rum, midori, pineapple juice & orange juice. Shaken over ice and served in a martini glass. It was a BRIGHT green and was easy to drink!
