Good Morning Thread Killers & Lurkers Alike!
I scanned back a couple of pages....dang!
Hello HollyAnn!

I wish you all the best with your Dad and will say prayers for his health.
Ahoy Cruisin' !
I shuddered at the news of Rick's friends demise....
To TiggerWanaBe

...your projects are coming along....lots-o-talent!
It was a joy to read that you got a clean bill of health DalPal Our GalPal

.... I can only imagine the concern you had while awaiting the test results.... I think we should have a cookie to celebrate!
MIA? Me?
I just get busy doing this or that sometimes....and certainly ...haven't had to face the trials and trbulations some of you TK-ers were facing while I was ...as you call it....MIA....
but in my own way of trying to cheer you up....and at the same time...let you know what I've been up to...let me share a couple of my own life experiences... I won't bore you with the results of opening day of PA trout season yesterday....except to tell you my one Grandson hauled in a 30 inch Northern Pike.....a story already a family legend...
but anyway....
I have a new assistant...a nice young Lady named Dawn....a pleasant enough person....one of those always bubbly types....
she came in Friday announcing "Happy Spring" to one and all...
she was dressed for spring....bright colors....etcetera etecetera....
BUT! she had on these shoes....her toes hung out....and each big toe.... had an eyeball painted on the nail...
oh...ok...that's cool....
EXCEPT! those darned toe-eyes were like those busts in the Haunted Mansion! Everywhere I went...the toe-eyes followed my every move....
If I went to the left...they looked to the left....If I stood up...they gazed up....
I tried turning my back on the toe-eyes...but when I turned around...ayup...they were staring at me!
I'm a fair hand with a frisbee....so...I got some of these cardboard coasters out of the cupboard....
I tried slinging the coasters to cover the toe-eyes when Dawn wasn't looking...but the toe-eyes saw! They moved just enough that I missed!
so much for Plan A.....
Plan B: I called my Niece who works for an optometrist....I asked her if she had any small frames..... I explained that I was hoping she could make a pair
of sunglasses to cover a pair of toe-eyes....
I can STILL hear her laughing.....
Plan C involved juggling a stapler, a gavel and an aerosol can of orange paint....everytime I purposely dropped the paint...the toe-eyes scurried under the chair.... the clever little so-and-so's.....
Turning on the A/C and leaving a pair of socks in plain view didn't work either...all that did was make my ripple ring cold.....
So TK-ers....barring a snowstorm....I expect I'll be haunted by these toe-eyes until the paint wears off....I have no idea how long that can be....
episode 2, as you will see, is not my fault...it's the GrandKids fault....
I was showing off for them....juggling a rubber ball, a pint "Ball" canninng jar and a Sponge Bob Toy from the Burger King....
I was asked...and I quote.."Papa, can you get the rubber ball IN the canning jar while you're juggling?"
I really do have to declare my innocence on this one....don't you agree?
