Who feels like a Thread-Killer? (Temporary)

hi all....have a lot to catch up on...but will have to do that in small sessions; i tore my cornea last friday & couldn't get in to eye dr till monday so in the meantime it went from a tear to an ulcerated cornea. Long story short i CAN't SEE....so it's quite a strain to just do my work...along with the meds is NO CONTACTS FOR 9 days either....uggghhhh

anyway -Cally - i have really been thinking about you & Roger coming home....now reading that he should be boarding his plane, really puts some tears in my eyes & i wish him a very safe trip home to his gorgeous wife & handsome boys...

We just had AT&T connect all 3 of our plants with their gigaman network, set up a VPN, configured our routers, and now our performance is worse than what we had with our old T1 lines! Cisco has become involved to see if their software is causing a problem, so my fingers are crossed they will be "analytical".

I didn't have a very good night last night.

Actually I was great up until early morning.

I've had very little pain with this tooth being pulled and was functioning great yesterday.

I woke up this morning at around 5am feeling like I was going to pass out and throw up. Neither of which I actually did, thank goodness.

I slept on the bathroom floor for a couple of hours though because I didn't think that I could actually get up.

Test messaged my nurse from upstairs and she came down to check on me and brought me a pillow and an extra blanket

Got up about 9:30 or so and the vertical hold was still not working on my eyes, so I felt sick and dizzy AGAIN.

This time I did throw up

Since then I've been doing okay, except I've been sleeping a lot today.

I'm wondering if maybe I had a bit of sickness to go with my tooth pulling or if that was a reaction to the Tylenol 3's I had been taking.

Not taking them anymore. don't really need them anyways.

Awww thank you so much! You're too sweet. They pushed his eta back 4 hours. But at least it's still the same day!
We're all excited here. DeVaughn is a bit too excited. He got in trouble at school today for talking too much. When I talked to him about it he said he can't help it he's so excited.

I ate yesterday. I was allowed to eat before I had my tooth pulled, so I had breakfast and lunch.

I ate other things afterwards too. Soft things like mashed potatoes, jello, pudding, apple sauce.

Is that all you are eating?!?!?!

Since I was sick this morning I haven't eaten all that much.

I did have some chicken noodle soup that I soaked crackers in.

I had some small donuts too.

I'm hungry now, so I'll probably have to go and find something else to eat.

Could be. I took them once....coudnt lift my head off the pillow, and had some wicked nightmares!

THANKS all for the wishes...my vision should be okay....but 9 days without contacts is really difficult with a laptop...my glasses are really for seeing things further away....uggghhhh - i feel like i'm working half blind....well i guess because with no contacts & no glasses - I AM blind!

I'm thinking the military shouldn't even give you the time of arrival until he's 2 hrs away - then you have just enough time to get ready & get to the airport!!...That would be SOOOO maddening to have things changed up all the time...and the school should totally understand the boys' excitement - they should have given them an excused day off!!!!

I'm having a CABI party tonite...but i don't think too many people are coming oh well - i want to see the spring line & i have a convention in 3 wks so i need a few new things....
