It's going to be late tonight. We probably won't make it home until midnight.

I wanted to take pictures of everyone getting off the plane and hugging loved ones..etc but it's going to be dark.

We had a high in the 50's yeaterday, and rain, rain, rain. There are floods everywhere this morning, and the weather channel mentioned we'll have snow, and temperatures in the teens this weekend! Give a shout out to Roger for me.

Wish, I could make her relax somehow ...I go in my bedroom, but I can still hear her pacing, back and forth in front of my door...
ITS driving me CRAZY!and I feel guilty for being iritated by it.. .

By the way I dont know if you noticed, but we are going to be at the "world", the same time!...Only you are LUCKY enough to be staying at the BeachClub....where, we are having to stay at the Pop(taking our 5 DGDs, which means 2 rooms) ....Not that there is anything wrong with the Pop,...BUT Id rather stay at the BC...Enjoy that pool!

So SORRY to hear about your eye!...
I use the cheap reading glasses all the time($2-$5)...I keep misplacing my good glasses($400.00 ), or leaving them home..and I canNOT read a thing without them...only as of about five years ago... ..Just another sign of my getting OLD!
My good glasses are better tho, cause I can keep them on for anything, they have the perscription in the bottom of the lense, but nothing in the top...So I can read my PC, but still look up and see the TV..or far things too!
I hope you recover quickly!

Morning all.

We have had a ton of rain. The basement carpet is wet The doesn't happen very often only if it rains really really hard, which it did yesterday.

Now today we are going to move from freezing rain to heavy snow Alex has to do his drive home from school early this evening, so I hope he gets here okay.

Betsy, don't feel bad about being frustrated with your mom. I don't know how you guys can do it Living with people with Alzheimers has got to be just so very hard to deal with.

Cally, we need food too but I'm not sure that I can fit it into the schedule today. Hopefully I'm a little more mobile today than I was yesterday

I haven't been to work in 2 weeks and my desk has to be full of stuff that needs taking caring of.

Verizon had the best T1,2,3 lines.....ya get what ya pay for!


Newbie!

We had so much trouble with gigaman we went back to out original T1 lines last night. Everything ran well for a while then we started to see a LOT of dropped packets, and put a call in to ATT. They came in, and went into our flooded phone room to find water pouring out of the underground conduits the phone lines are in. We had so much rain the last 2 days that the drains for the conduit were below the ground water level!

GOOD "ROGER COMING HOME" DAY!

I had a grrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeat night, thanks to Dr M and his magic sleeping pill! After a couple of weeks of 4 hours 'at best' sleeping time...couldnt take it anymore! Mom had my sister up during the night (cause she likes to do that ) hehehehehehheehehe! Bout time!
Due to Moms legs swelling...she refuses to keep her legs up. The Drs wrapped them like a cast. Driving her nutz, which in turns drives me nutz~

So here's a funny conversation I had with SIL lastnight...

Me: Raj doesn't get in til really late? What should I do about the kids? I don't want to keep them up all night, they have school.

SIL: Don't worry about it, I'll pick him up. Kal and I will go get him.

Me:

Silence for about 10mins...

Me: Well that really wasn't the answer I was looking for. But nevermind the kids all ready said they wanted to come so I will just bring them with me.

More silence..

Me: okay well I'm going to sleep now
