I have a raffle to put together to help benefit some local kids who lost their dad to a motorcycle accident recently....and of course summore resumes to send out~

Tomorrow I go to NYC to see Aisling (DS Jesse) & Brenda (& DS Ryan)! Brenda is on her way home from Italy with a five hour layover at JFK so we're all gonna do lunch~

Saturday, I am taking pics in the AM of a local skateboard competition - and trying to get in to the Warped Tour to take pictures there again this year.

Saturday afternoon, I signed up for a free seminar at the local broadcasting school. Hopefully that can at minimum get me some good contacts for a job.

Sunday, I have nothing planned yet. If the weather is nice I may get John to take me to the beach. We haven't really been this year yet - he's been bugging to go and it's supposed to get ugly hot here again, so why not be hot at the beach?

What day do you leave DU? Tuesday?

Ooh! I almost forgot to get the camera!

I am packing a shoulder bag. I have my camera (and accessories), my book to read going up and back, Some Nikon DVDs for Brenda and a map of Key West so the three of us can talk cruise.

My fingers are still crossed that John and I can cruise with them at the end of this year. It'll be Mom, John and I sharing a cabin if we do. No kids. We decided I can't afford them no matter what happens for me job-wise.

We leave for Cape Cod at 4:00 tomorrow morning and I've been so busy at work, that I have done No packing...zero nada! I had night meetings for work 3 nights this week! I have to bring the dog to the kennel at 8:00 and have a couple coming to my office to sign wills at 9:00. Then I still have oodles of work to do, but I am going to try like heck to get out by noon today so I can clean out the van and start getting packed...I hope I have clean clothes!

DU have a great time in the muddaland! Tell my sister I said happy birthday. I expect her to send me lots of pics from her phone when you guys get together ( I am so jealous!) Watch out for suicidal squirrels and keep track of your Jibbitz ...maybe you want to superglue them on before you leave!

We leave for Cape Cod at 4:00 tomorrow morning and I've been so busy at work, that I have done No packing...zero nada! I had night meetings for work 3 nights this week! Story here.

I go outside for a break at work.

In our front lobby (which is HUGE) I hear a woman SCREAMING CUSS WORDS all over.

All of Security is there trying to calm her down. She also has about 12 other people with her.

Seems like she planned a Test for her company to start Mimdnight on June 28th!!!! NOW
(all our paper work...emails from her & her comapny ALL SAY JULY 12)

She flew her WHOLE STAFF up from Texas (Airfare, hotels...EVERYTHING) for a Midnight startup TONIGHT at Midnight.!!!!!!
She isnt even in the right building, for the kind of Corporate test they are doing she should be down the block...WHICH CLOSES AT 5:00pm!!!! They dont even staff the place at night.

She is 2 weeks & 8 hours early...and NOT A THING WE CAN DO!!!!!

She is still SCREAMING ON TOP OF HER LUNGS downstairs...and I mean SCCCCCCCCCCCCREAMING!

What a nut.

How can you get something like this sooooooooooooooo wrong.

Crazy lady

That's a lot of things to get wrong.!!

To the tune of 1/2 million dollars for her company!!!!!!! Wound up we had to work it as a 'real disaster' (normally paid bt their co Ins ) we had to call a staff of 25 in, (at 4 in the am) and they just started trickling in theis am as I was leaving. Our Head muckity muck had to call her head muckicty muck. And YES she was STILL screaming...Mostly about how nobody can do anything right! . ...I dont think she realized that her goose is cooked! Their Co President was flying in today on his Private Jet
...This was a Fortune 50 company too!

She probably only was focusing on what SHE wanted to happen and didn't think thru the rest of it.

Normally there are many conference calls between us & the Ccustomers. About 6 to 12 reps on each side. I heard that she was the ONLY one who did her companies conf calls. We had not one but 5 seperate emails & 3 contracts she signed all with the date of July 12!!!!!
