This morning I went for a liver biopsy.

That was a fun way to spend a few hours, NOT!!

Actually the liver biopsy was not too bad but I had to stay in bed and wait for 4 hours afterwards before they would release me.

At least I had a good view of the hallway and the comings and goings of the xray department hallway

Heck, they brought me lunch which was an unexpected bonus

Robin, why are you getting a liver biopsy? Are they trying to figure out why your liver enzymes are elevated?

I guessing they kept you for so long because the liver is a very vascular organ and they were making sure it wasn't bleeding out. Did they make you lay on your right side?

Might explain also why they didn't let you get up to go to the bathroom...to keep pressure on it.

I hope everything turns out okay.

Raj had to do a training fly this morning but he is home now. We're planning on going to see The Hulk and dinner.....

Last weekend we went to see Kung Fu Panda.... (it was funny) for Dante's bday ...

DeV's bday was yesterday... took them to Monkey Joes.. (indoor blow up park thingy)

My cars are real basic for now...

I put my full name on one side and then my email, photobucket and myspace addys and then my phone number. I *want* to incorporate a picture on the backside - maybe the sunset shot I used for my logo in graphic design class.

We talk about going out, then John comes home exhausted and we wind up hanging hoem and watching our netflix...or like right now we have the European Soccer Championships on~

John is just the opposite, he thinks he is letting me down by deciding to stay home...I explained today that he does not disappoint me. I know he works hard and gets tired, when he's tired he's miserable - who wants to be out in public and miserable?

He doesn't know it yet but he'll totally make these days up to me on future vacations

Makenzie stopped by today, WOW she says alot of words now! "Keys", Peese (Please), and FINALY "MOM"!
However if you ask her what her name is , she says "KaKA"! I asked her if she want to go with me & James to WDW...and she grabbed my hand and started walking for the door.

She was looking for Casey today! Calling for him too...Cakey! Cakey!

At work now! Yuk! Hopefully the customer will be quiet tonight...They werent last nigh!

I am going to a roller skating competition to take shots of my Mom. She really has no *good* photos of her skating - so I offered to take some for her. She's going to Nationals again for like the 3rd time in four years. Mom competes in senior's dance, think Waltzing on wheels.

That is exactly why I had the liver biopsy. They are still trying to figure out what is causing the elevated liver enzymes

No they did not make me lay on my right side. I just had to stay in bed.

I did make sure to lay fairly still even though they told me it wasn't necessary.
