Sorry... I have checked the other posts since I was on last week! I had to respond to Betsy's pic!

WOW!! I haven't met you face to face yet, but I have seen your other pics! Way to go girl! You look marvelous (think Billy Crystal when you read that!)!

How long would it take you to get there, Kelly?

I think about 9+ hrs. I'll have to check into it more but 9 hrs sounds about right!

Should I include my DS, DD, & DH in this? Didn't know if this was strictly adults? The reason I included DH, he still hasn't grown up!

Im not sure about the plans yet,(Any help or suggestions will be greatfully accepted ) except that we will meet someplace in NFs. (Canada side) on Sat. (best if people need travel time)the 12th of Aug. or Sun. the 13th..( either day is doable for us)..and probably have a lunch/dinner thing. ...

If there gets to be alot of us ...It would probably be best to try and book a room or section of a restaurant..

So I guess the first thing to do is find out how many people will be going...

I'll keep my ears open! (or ear)! Umm, I will defin. know by Easter if I can make it or not! DH has wanted to see NF and I would love to take the kids there before they get their drivers license and decide they are way too cool to hang with us!

Sorry I can't post personal notes to each and all, I need to get back to DD who now has the stomach flu! That makes 2x getting 2 different flus (how do you spell flu plural )! Ugh, homework, homework, homework! She is miserable!

Absolutely you may bring the entire family if you like. Definitely not an adults only thing.

9 hours is a long drive but you do get to see Niagara Falls this way too

I'm only about 3 hours away from Niagara Falls, so it's good for me

Colleen, I can't retrieve photos from my new program for photo bucket....I don't know why. They just don't show up only the programs operations stuff...any suggestions???

It sounds like the type of file your looking for while in browse needs to be changed...

click browse, look at the bottom of the box that holds your pictures, next to the phrase "files of type", make sure it says "All Files" ... you may be stuck on "HTMLs"

...lemme know if that helps...

it's been a long day...busy at work trying to raise lots of money to build a new library. DD had softball practice, then state academic team practice. she's a smary-pants and gets a free trip to WDW next month w/ the academic team! boys (twins) informed us that they have a speech due wed, so we worked on that for hrs. plus, granny arrive today and will be here til fri. that's ok tho, cuz we love granny

Thank you everyone! Dad is doing just fine. He sounded groggy (drugged) in the background, but he was on morphine, as expected. He'll be there 2-3 days, followed with 2-3 days at a rehab facility. We weren't expecting the rehab place, but whatever is best!

I did not see him today, for 2 reasons. He didn't want any visitors, and I had a low fever this morning and several cold symptoms. My Mom asked us all to stay away, but especially me . I'm going tomorrow tho, no matter what, just to check on my Mom, who has probably barely eaten anything, IF anything. (besides, she still has my cell phone )

BETSY!!!! OMGosh!! 35 lbs is SOO noticeable!!! Congratulations!!! WEIGH to GO!!! I'm sure you're feeling great, as you should!! You LOOK great!

Robin, how did Michigan go? How's Alex and his spare glasses? I'm glad he wasn't hurt any worse than that.

I Have flowers popping up all over my yard! .....

I only see one place where the darn rodents must have eaten my bulbs. There is nothing but little holes where the bulbs would have been..I guess I should have put the chicken wire over them...like I did in the other spots... but it was right next to the pond edge, so I didnt think Id need it....Guess Im wrong.....AGAIN

The drive will definately be well worth it! I have wanted to go back for sometime! We were watching the Superman movie the other day, and the kids commented on wanting to go to NF! This will be perfect!
