Hi Ya'll - Been a while - Hope everyone is doing well.....

Been crazy busy here and now we are in full swing of baseball season - arrrghhhhh LIFE........

As you can tell from my new ticker I did it - I quit smoking - as did DH - and he & I started a new diet/excersize program last week and I have lost 3.5 lbs and I am hoping for a total of 10lbs before we leave for WDW in 26 days.....he lost 5lbs and is hoping for a total loss of 12lbs before we leave....

WOW....GREAT JOB, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

i got back from karate tonight and i was fighting with 1 of my friends and we both kicked at the same time and our knees hit each other. he hit floor first! but he can walk i can't!

I bought my own spar gear and have everything available but even with all that stuff on, sometimes an opponent can still find an open spot, not usually on purpose either.

U, I'm glad that your knee is getting better. Take it easy for a while longer though and let it heal really well.

Hmmm, not much reading around here tonight.

Ok, you'll be sorry............

First, if I could ask for a Big TK {{HUG}} for my Dad, he's having hip replacement surgery tomorrow. Prayers, Pixie Dust and good ole Well Wishes would be appreciated as well. We feel bad because we forgot to add my Dad to the Prayer list at Kelly's school, so any help would be great! I'll probably sleep right thru his surgery.....it's at 7:30 AM! It takes about an hour, so I'll probably STILL be sleeping when it's over! (Hey, I'm off this week ) We visited him today and I'll go over tomorrow after he gets settled in a regular room. I gave my Mom my cell phone so she could call us (are payphones non-existent these days? ). I'm sure everything will go fine. TIA

Second, and last , I've got that 'gonna be sick soon' feeling. Ever since we got home, I've been achey, cold/hot, kinda loopy, headache, you all know the feeling. This is not good this week since my nephew is coming here 2 days and we have plans the other 3 days. Besides, Dad's surgery and recovery. The weather is also supposed to be cooperating, with rising tempsº each day. I was really hoping to kick the kids outside and tackle some BIG cleaning issues I have, so please, please, hope that this passes with some rest tonight.


Well, honestly, I could keep writing (aka blabbing) , but I'm thinking of taking some Motrin and heading to bed soon. I'm just sitting here, and I ache all over.

Im glad you had a good time at the concert.....Wow 2 AM.....I would be a zombie the next day if I stayed up that late....I bet it was worth it though...I know you have said you guys really like that band!....

DH and I had the weekend to ourselves..well not Sun. but friday night and Sat....My mom went to visit my DSis...We didnt go out or anything. Just started our flooring for our hallway and livingroom...(Pergo...wel NOT pergo, but the same thing as)..We started in our laundry room as a practrice spot...and it looks good and went down really easy....I think Im going to like it....I figure throw rugs in the livingroom are alot easier to clean then carpet...and with all the kids and dogs that run through it ....Im for that ...

Well Ill be popping in and out today...

Good morning to all.

It is a beautiful spring day today

Plenty of I heard the temperature is supposed to be around 50 today

The kids are back into routine. Liz was just dropped at school and Alex is out on his ambulance. I had the ambulance stop by this morning already because Alex managed to mangle up his glasses ..... got hit in the face with an exhaust hose Didn't hurt him but his glasses are a mess. Good thing he has a spare pair.

I'm off to start my day, hopefully to get out a bit and enjoy the weather
