AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH TKers and Lurkers!!!!!!!!

watch out its a High School epidemic!!!!!!


thats right....my school is under a stomach virus!

ok...so it started the other day and a few kids threw up....no biggie...happens everyday


then today...550 kids call out sick on my side.(200 on 11/12) by 2nd period, 17 "cases" had been cleaned up.

by 4th period my freshman dance was still on (its tommorrow!!)....and i was starting to feel sick

by 7th period.....i wanted to puke...and i had to walk by the nurses office....there was a line...and they were shutting down. If you had to puke...it was off to main office with a bucket (no lie!!!)

by the end of the day.......the dance was cancelled......and 300 kids had been sent home sick on my side (50 on the 11/12)

so yes..my classes were small.....and i did nothing. And now i feel like Im heading down the path of my peers.

so now im have to call my mom and tell her to cancelle my hair appointment because there is no dance.

oh well.....its in 2 weeks....Ill post some pictures after.

Do you think it might of been something served in the cafeteria?

I have time enough for a quick post.....
today I took Cora to a our neighbors and we did a scrapbook workshop like thing. She's only 5 so we only got it about half done. She wanted to make a special book for her best friend. I came home to supper on the table, too bad it was something I don't eat nor my son. (chop suey) So I just had a chicken salad sandwich and a mikes hard lemonade, Randall had hot dogs and garlic toast.
Now that supper is over, I thought I would check in on all of you and give a big !!!Headed back to the neighbors for game night. Just the kids and I will go. DH looks alot like Robins son, snoozing in the "lazy boy".
I'll check in again later, I'm gonna try to get back in time for survivor

I'm back...Survivors over. Poor Ruth Marie is gone. I hated to see any of them go, I really like that tribe. DH and I are in a survivor pool. He has Sally so I was glad she didn't go yet, not until the final 4...we'll get some money back that way. I have Cerie...and right now she is kicking some butt!!!
Game night went well. The kids played Whoonu a couple of times and Pictionary Jr once, they all got to get a prize from the "prize basket". We only get a chance to do this w/ out neighbors on school vacations because they actually live in CT, but stay up here at their hunting camp whenever they get a chance. That's how rural the area I live in is....
I'm not sure what tomorrow has in store for us, maybe a movie, maybe the bowling alley. Earlier I posted that we didn't have any snow, well we have about 3 inches right now and it's still coming down. Good sticky stuff too. Maybe tomorrow should be snow sculpture day if it isn't too cold. A snow would be cute, don't you think?

By the way, BP, my DH found the ice cream late last night and now there's only enough to serve 2 left....you in??
Feels like I'm the only one on tonight, I think I'll go put my son to bed and maybe find some chick flick to watch on tv...everyone else has already drifted off to dream land thanks to the sandman.

Nope, I'm almost afraid to say it but we've been good this winter. No major illnesses

Usually we don't end up with a lot of stuff anyways. Must be all of those good germs we are living with. They make us more disease resistant

I'm attempting to get info on the banana boat thing Kelly mentioned. I have a very,VERY slow dial up connection and it's difficult to load the disneywebsite pages. I wanted to try out the VMK one day to see if I wanted to let DS know about it, but after wainting for the pages to load...I gave up quick.

J/K Sunny!!! If I was posting more, you'd know that I can usually close this place down EVERY night, WELL PAST 9:30!! With Robin's help.


TKs help!! I just don't know what to do about airfare! Betsy or Colleen, I think one of you mentioned 'group' fare, so I called United and AA and got $276/person at one and $499 at AA! So sure, $276 looks great, but I'm just not used to spending that much on airfare! Granted, it's not my money, but I don't want Mom & Dad feeling the pinch, ya know? I also hate to risk that the prices will go UP!!! I'm soooooo confused and scared. This is a group of 10 ya know. My cousin's family can find their own airfare.

Is ANYBODY here watching Dancing with the Stars?! I LOVE this show! My fave star got 2 perfect 30s tonight!!! I was impressed, as I always am, but kinda surprised his main competition scored as low as she did, she's been outstanding up until tonight. Hey, Drew is winning, that's all I care about! If you're NOT watching the show, ignore my babble.

Kelly (8yoDD) was sick a couple days, started coughing on Sat, started running a fever on Mon (Holiday), and I had to keep her home Tues to be safe. Ruined her perfect attendance record. Health is more important than a paper certificate at year's end tho. But of course, we've had busy after-school schedules the past 2 days, and she's wiped out.

Dad's retirement party is tomorrow. While I'm thrilled for him (WDW here I come!), I do NOT see myself staying very long. Probably the ONLY female in a BAR with a BUNCH of dirty plumbers (I mean that in Every sense too! LOL They do new construction and, ehem, they can be potty-mouthed as well! ). Picture that, and then add alcohol! If I don't check in tomorrow night, switch the lurker mobile to auto-pilot, and send it out to me! Who HAS the anyway?
