hey TKers....yup...its offical...i am so sick its not even funny.

I was making out with the toilet last night....then my dad found me passed out shaking on the bathroom floor....and started telling me that I looked like a drunk!!! (how rude!)

but I just checked the news. Its 625 called out today...and more will be sent home. Gah!

oh...its been discovered that is a stomach virus AND what they served in the cafe that day.....and the water foutains are carrying them.

UUUUh im going to go back to my sloth ways on the couch drinking gatorade 'cause it hurts to move.

Hope everybody has a good day and nobody gets what I have! :crazy2:

:crazy2: Sorry to hear you're feeling it now... I do wish you a speedy recovery... :wizard: :wizard:

So does anyone know what happens to the school and the cafeteria when something like this happens? :confused3 I know I would be afraid to let my child eat there.

Cally, maybe you will have to keep your hair tied back while Elijah is there at least until you get him under control. You do have lovely hair, does his mom have shorter hair than yours. :confused3
Thank you.. I do try to keep it back but he still pulls at it and plays with it. I do have longer hair then his mom.. My hair has since gotten really long and is down to my butt now.. I'm thinking of cutting it though :scratchin

Speaking of hair.. I found a white strand of hair today!!!! :scared:

I don't remember the picture. I will be on the look out for them next time we go.

I slept in today so I might be able to stay up after 10 tonight....it might take that long for me to catch up on the thread and send out apologies. I hope no one took the "old geezers" comment to heart, If so, I truely am sorry.

Cally-
Does Elijah avoid eye contact?

I think a routine would do this kid wonders. And maybe someone he can get comfortable with. It'll be hard, but I bet you can make a difference in this kids life, just by being someone he can count on. :goodvibes

DH likes when DD watches Kim Possible....she actually told her preschool teacher that her dad thinks Kim Possible is HOT. :lmao:

Robin-
Neither my DH nor I carry any sort of gun. We both are hunters though. DH is a registered Maine Guide and someday hopes to build a few more hunting camps on our property. (retirement dreams) I've only been hunting the last 3 yrs... but I did shoot a small buch the first year and a small doe this year. :)

Belle-
I sure so hope you feel better and all your friends too. I can't imagine how scary it must have been not knowing for a while what was happening.

Some of you commented at what a nice day you were having, I hope you each got a chance to enjoy it. The kids went out to build the snow ::MickeyMo but didn't stay out very long as it was still snowing quite hard. They went back out a little later to do some sliding. DD is so exhausted she just fell asleep sitting in the chair with me.

Wendy, don't worry about the old geezer remark, some of us actually resemble that remark..... not pointing fingers at anyone of course ( pirate: ) :teeth:

I just had a minor panic attack here.

I went into my wallet to get something out and realized there was an empty space where my Visa card is supposed to be

I searched all my pockets, all the different spots in my wallet, no Visa card :crazy2:

So I think, where did I use it last. :scratchin  This morning at Sears when I put the deposit on our cruise.

So I quickly look up the number for Sears Travel and call. The lady says, oh, I'll look at her desk but if she had found it I think she would have called you. That is a remark that I totally agreed with. So she looks and comes back and says, no, I don't see anything.

 Okay, I say I will go and check EVERYTHING again and she says she will call the girl who helped me and see what she remembers. I search everywhere again, except my car because Liz has it. No Visa Card :worried:

So I call Sears Travel again and say, nope, no card here. She says she has looked at every possible surface that it could have been left on and talked to the girl that helped me and she THOUGHT she gave it back to me. :confused3

So the lady is still looking around and all of a sudden I hear her say .... Oh my gosh it IS here. She says, you are not going to believe where it is and we will show you tomorrow when you come in to pick it up. She put it in the cash box for safe keeping overnight.

Guess where it was

:confused3

:confused3

:confused3

On the top of a pile of WDW brochures :lmao: She says it blends right into the picture on the cover, so you don't even notice it there :lmao:

I start to laugh...... how appropriate....... one of my favourite places in the world, I tell her. I say... maybe the brochure is calling to me :thumbsup2

In her perfect travel agent voice she says...................................

Do you want me to book that for you. :smooth:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Actually he does avoid eye contact.. What does that mean? :confused3 Esp, when you call him or say his name..it's like he doesn't hear you...

Cora, DD(5), is still asleep, she was playing dress up earlier so she has on her one of her princess dresses.....she's our own little sleeping beauty.

I've got a parenting questions for you guys. Cora sleeps quite soundly, and doesn't wake up to go to the bathroom. We have been making her wear pull-ups to bed. She hasn't had an "accident" during the day for over a year. (she turned 5 the end of Dec., just for reference). My mother and DH think it's an issue, I think she's just not ready. She goes for a well=child visit in June.
Do you think I should be concerned?

My youngest will be 6 on June 20. He has had the occassional accident but now we make sure he uses the bathroom before bed and limit his drinks after a certain time and have had no problems when we do that.

A few weeks ago he did have a lil accident in his pants during the day but that was because he was too lazy to go to the bathroom. He was playing his gameboy.
