Shopping went well!...I just got in and I have to leave again in about 10 mins. to go get Julia for her piano lesson...

I bought a cute toy train set for my DGS...He is 3 years old...and a few other gifts...and a big splurge for myself?.........Socks ...

Cally - I see you're on-line waiting for your egg to hatch! I'm in lurker-mode...cause I like to check at work every once in a while.

Robin - sounds like fun with Liz coming through. I think it's great that she'll come down for a part of the vacation. I'm with TN - it'd be great to be able to meet for lunch again, if you can swing it. But with grandparents around, I understand!

DalPal - sounds like you've been busy and productive! Congrats on the picture! Please post the ones that are chosen....I'd love to see! You are SO creative!

Tinknutt - we are now digital camera owners. We got a nice, small one that I wanted. It had to charge last night and tonight we have to format it, but then we (I hope) point and shoot. I think DH will be messing with it today - it's my long day, today!

Kim - I hope you catch up with your sleep....we miss you! How's the sick - school situation? I hope it's improving, but unfortunately it probably won't.

Morning everyone.

TN ~~ we are driving to Disney and then over to the coast for the cruise.

We will be going through during the week though ~~ down the I75 probably passing near you on Thurs Jan 5 (or possibly the 4th if we can get away sooner). We won't have a definite time of course but traditionally we get near that area somewhere abouts 11 - 2 o'clock range.

Going home will be on Thursday Jan 12. We'd probably be going right through your area because we'd take the I95 up the coast and maybe go through Jacksonville over to the I75 So, leaving the ship between 8 and 9 am getting to your area in what 2 to 3 hours.

Ann ~~ I don't think I'd let my parents stop me. Since they are driving in our vehicle they really don't get a vote , not that they'd have any objections I'm sure. I talk to my mom about you all of the time. Also they are "young" folks, my dad is 72 and my mom just turned 70.

Yup, Liz jumped all over that offer of coming along, I'm telling you Now there's no way we can go without her She's trying to weasel her way into the cruise again but I'm not sure if missing a whole week of school is a good idea, especially since it is the first week of a new semester. Her classmates are urging her to go though, they say they will catch her up when she gets back Helpful bunch aren't they

I wouldnt be surprised if they did make us wait til 11:59 Or it could be someone's idea of a cruel joke!

Having a good day so far... I'm just sitting here trying to do my make-up and dis at the same time..

Send some snow this way!!! It's about 40 right now..was 35 and should get warmer this afternoon.. Around 60's..as soon as the sun decides to come out in full force..

Hi Cally. Get them kids out and get your tree. I have always had good luck (price and nice trees) at either Lowes or Home Depot. But you have to go early for best selection. Mine is up and decorated. With lots of lights outside the house and inside. I love the holidays!! HATCH EGG!! (although all my children were late---post due dates! )

Wow.. I havent even started to decorate yet... I wanted to put lights up around the house.. we always do but with hubby gone I dont think I will be doing it.. So I'll just decorate the inside..

The kids were quite excited to hear that we are going tree shopping this weekend.. I'll be sure to post some pics as soon as I get it.. I hope it lasts and does not turn brown before Christmas...

i think tree decorating is exempt from child labor laws..... ...I hope anyway....lol....
