Who feels like a Thread-Killer? Part 6

Well Cally & Kelly, I'm in between you both. I'm 5'3/4". For YEARS I've just said 5'. It's easier to 'lie' about being shorter, than it is to say "5'1" and someone says "prove it".

I'm in good company it sounds! I've been wearing shoes with thicker soles now that the kids have caught up with me!

Someone remind me to wear my heels if tinknutt cruises with us!

KIM!!! Your box was dropped off on Feb 22nd! -Do you have a back porch cause that's where UPS said they left it

OMGosh! That's my deck, that we never use. I'm glad the receipt specifically stated back porch, because I never would have checked back there. We've lived there almost 12 years and this is only the 2nd time this has happened. I will check as soon as I get home! Thanks Colleen!

Hi Everyone....sad news....

Yesterday, we had a co-worker have a massive heart attack in the office and he didn't make it. I was at mass when it happened, but the other girls in the office (small office - a family) found him. He was a HUGE part of the company and we're a little lost without him. He was 42.

To top it off - I am SICK...I don't know what I've got, but I'm the 4th person in the office to get it. I have no voice, I keep coughing (all night) and had a 102.4º last night - chills, aches the whole kit-and-kaboodle! My temp is back down to normal, but I'm headed to bed to recover some more.....


.......I've got a Disney trip to go to!

Anyway, that's why I haven't posted. I'll be off-line this weekend, either at Disney or sick (pray that it's Disney!) and then there are all the funeral functions to attend the first part of next week.

So....if you don't see me, don't worry! I'll catch up and be back to normal in no time.

Colleen, sure enough, the box was there! UPS passed TWO of our doors (front and side) to go to the back deck, that has a non-key lock, and placed it at Kelly's exit door to the deck, and then locked the gate behind themselves. I do not understand why they did this. But thank you so much for the books!! I looked at Kelly's AR list and almost all the books are ON her list, and when she saw the books, she KNEW they were on the list without looking! She's very excited! Thank you again!!


My Dad called tonight and told me his hip replacement surgery is the 27th. I don't remember anyone I know actually being Excited about surgery. He also picked a golf course for 'the boys' to play while in WDW. I'm sure they'll just LOVE doing that! Tonight I watched the vacation planning video with Kelly, and I'm just getting too excited myself! Has anyone popped the CD in to see what that contains? I might try doing that at work.

Oh, Kelly 'graduated' to the next level of ice skating today. She's pretty excited for the Spring session to start.

I got my new appliances today, garage fridge, upright freezer, stove and over the stove microwave (still in the box)

I also got the third and final estimate/plan for our kitchen. Looks good. I've been sitting in the kitchen trying to visualize things.

Hmm, Alex is still travelling to Ottawa, as far as I know. Hopefully he will arrive there soon. I'm thinking he will call when he gets there, so I'm not sure if I should go to bed or wait for his call

Lovely weather day with freezing rain, ice pellets, neat little tiny perfect shaped snowballs, plain old snow...... heck we almost had it all today

Alex just called to tell me that he has arrived at his destination, so I'm free to go to sleep now , mothers

He will be gone until late in the day on Monday.

Time in indulge in a peanut containing chocolate bar . I hate to do that when he is around but then when he goes away I forget that I can eat peanuts and so I don't I'm always so careful when I eat something with peanuts anyways. I won't eat it in our house or even in my car and I'm careful not to get peanut crumbs on anything that he might come in contact with and to wash my hands really well.

Sometimes I don't think eating the treat is worth the hassle

Hmm... not a whole lot over here.. Still babysitting... started working out hard core again.. (now that's a laugh ) no but seriously... we started doing the eliptical again and soon we will include weights for some toning.... I NEED to shed some pounds!!

oh btw, glad you found the books! That is very strange that the UPS man did that..I wonder if he was trying to keep the package safe by putting it in the back
