That's one coaster I have yet to ride ~

For rides, my family's fav park is Universal, Islands first then Movies

Hulk is ALWAYS first, dueling dragons and spiderman are a must do.

Disney is first for atmosphere, friendliness and Magic ~

I'm sure our TKers are missing cause life intervenes...I will never go away. As long as you're here I will find my way home.

Oh I forgot to mention..

There was an attempted burglary here in my neighborhood (down the street) on Tuesday night!

I got a neighborhood watch notice in the mail yesterday saying that the burglars attempted to get in the house through the back door but left when the alarm came on. The police found tracks in the back yard to the door.

And on Wednesday some construction workers that are working on a new house noticed a truck going up and down the street and would park on the corner. They took the plate number and description of truck and gave it to the police.. When the police tracked the owners down and had a talk with them.... they found that they were construction workers that were building a house in another subdivision.. and they said they were parked on our street because they were watching the "pretty lady and her kids play in the yard"

They have no reason being on our street and police told told them to take anthor route but that does not guarantee anything...


Lastnight I had all outside lights on and double checked doors ... now I'm paranoid!

Liz is home sick today. She is supposed to be doing her clinical placement at the hospital but started not feeling well last night.

Alex is getting ready to drive to Ottawa to visit with his girlfriend. He has 6 days off before he has to go back to his paramedic placement, so he is using the time to visit. A long drive coming up for him today.

Not sure what I'm doing today but I've been appliance shopping lately so I'd like to get that job done.

Also I've been busy planning our next Florida vacation. We are planning on leaving on Sat Apr. 22 and returning on Mon May 1. We are going to a model airplane event in Lakeland Fl from Apr 26-30 and are staying in the Disney area for the first 4 or maybe 5 nights.

We are flying down with another couple. There is this older couple that are going to the airplane event and have a timeshare from Saturday to Saturday. The old man's airplane is being flown at this airplane event which is a very prestigious, you fly by invitation only event. The man is 84 years old and his wife is I think 10 years younger. The man cannot see well enough to fly his own plane anymore so one of the younger club members flys it for him but he still loves to watch it fly. Anyways, we offered to pick them up and drive them to the airport in Detroit and fly down with them and then drop them in Mulberry FL at their timeshare for the week. We will then go back to whatever we want to do in the Orlando area and then move back to the airplane event. Then we will fly back with them and see them safely home again. They are a really great couple and we felt that we could help out this way since neither one of them have much flying experience and they don't know their way in Florida either.

So now ......... what will Rick and I do with 3 or 4 days in the Orlando are Has anybody been to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach

Ann - much to the dismay and confusion of my family I am both a night and morning person - I can survive on 5 hours of sleep - however when my tank does go on E I can sleep for 10 hours that usually occurs right before my TOM.......

You guys are Sooo nice to help out that couple ....But I knew you were nice. You will be coming home just befor we will be going We are going on the 8th of May...Too bad we will miss each other by a week.... ...Oh well we will be meeting soon there after anyway!
I have never been to the waterparks...Id like to go sometime, but Never seem to want to take the time and pay the extra money to go...Had plans to with the girls once ...but there was a chance of thunderstorms ..so we changed plans ...the girls were disappointed..but hey we didnt want to spend the time getting there just to have to leave again...

Stay safe and keep the kids close for a few days....and dont let anyone in the house until you are sure who they are...You need a dog ...if not a big one then one with a big bark....

Oh and thank you for the congratulations ...It has taken me five months to get this far..slow going.....

Its going to be interesting....four teams?!

I hate that they are calling them "older/younger woman" team..."Older/younger men" team.......Just call them by there group name..

I had to laugh at the "younger men"...playing catch and not doing anything productive...what a bunch of dorks..Did you see their shelter?...what a joke

and that one girl ...that was afraid of the LEAVES???..Whats up with that???...I CANT believe they didnt vote her off and voted off the ONLY one that could do any hard work ...much less the challanges..how do they expect to win any now???.

Right now Id say the "older men" have the advantage...by far...I guess we will see!..

Thanks guys! We plan on staying safe. We're going to get a pad lock and put it on our fence door. Not only will it (hopefully) keep the bad guys out but keep our neighbor out should she decide she wants to paint the fence again.

Robin, I havent been to any of the water parks yet but they do look interesting. Can I come with ya?

As for Survivor.. I thought it was very interesting how they divided the teams up into 4 by age!

And I did laugh at how the younger men were just playing around.. not worried about shelter or fire.. while the older men were hard at work.. just goes to show.. I'd choose an older man any day!

Yep I think they made a mistake voting her out so soon. She seemed like a good competitor and hard worker... They should of kept her around a while... oh well...

Oh yea and can you believe they have an astronaut on the show! Very cool!

I woke up early this morning and in such a good mood, I think because it's Friday I'm also stoked because I received my Passporter cruise guide and my Valentine candy exchange in the mail yesterday. Oh and DS is up and back on the move .

Cally- Be careful, that's kinda creepy that there were men watching a woman and her kids.

DalPal and on getting close to your goal, I only wish I had the will power and drive that it takes to try and lose weight , I really admire those of you who do!!

Survivor-what were those ladies thinking? I would have had to vote out the one who was afraid fo the leaves!! I don't think it will be long before they start mixing up the tribes, although it would be nice to see the "more mature" teams kick those young un' butts !!

Yep found it right away! I loved it! It's perfect for one of my gf's from high school.. she just recently emailed me saying she was bummed about turning 30 and that she felt old.. That should cheer her up!

Janet, I would like to do a small DISmeet if it can be arranged but I'm not sure yet of any of our arrangements other than the date we are leaving and the date we are returning and when airplane event is You can send me the details that you have planned and we will see if we can manage to be in the same place at the same time at any point.

Betsy, sorry that we are going to miss each other but we will be together in June . We are thinking about checking out the water parks because we have 6 parkhopper plus tickets with one plus day left on each of them. We aren't much waterpark sort of people but we probably won't use those tickets anyways, so even if we just go in and have a look around. That way we can say that we have been there and seen it. If the weathers nice I don't mind the lazy river type of waterpark rides and could see us maybe doing a few things.

Cally, I don't like big drop roller coasters either but I do LOVE Tower of Terror for some reason. One of my favourites rides

ophie ~~ since you are going to a hockey game, I would think that you would be in a cold arena, so you've got to wear something to keep you warm (besides snuggling up with TZM that is). Maybe you could wear layers so that you could adjust for the temperature Of course a lot of arenas have heaters in the stands for the spectators, so I don't know really. Let us know what one wears to a hockey game in Florida when you get home from the game, okay.
