I am not planning on waiting that long to take this lovely lady on a cruise. I think that October 29th, 2005 sounds better than Jan '07. Don't you?

You tell me the dates for this cruise in '07 and I will book it in October while on my next one.

2. Do I have to behave? I usually don't.

Awesome Tarzanmann! I agree, October 29th DOES sound better. However, I need to put more pennies in my piggy bank first!

I'm not sure WHAT dates we'll choose - I guess we can try to come to a consensus when more people decide....sound okay?

1. We did think of a 3 or 4 day cruise. It's my first cruise, so East or West works for me.
2. Yep, you've gotta behave....we don't want you to get kicked off the ship on your first night!
3. I don't mind if you bring a cruisin' buddy - the more the merrier!
4. As for who's buying you drinks....all of us threadkillers thought YOU were buying!

Anyone have any ideas? East vs. West. What time in January - any particular dates? I'm thinking we'll want to book about 6 months in advance - sound about right? Where IS BrerPapa? he needs to jump on this bandwagon!

Well, if its a 3 or 4 day, it will just be to Nassau and Castaway Cay (pronounced Key). I would recommend the 4 day. The 3 day just seems too short. I felt like I just got on and then had to get off again. JMHO.

I am just excited about possible new intineraries so I don't know if we want to decide which cruise yet. I suggest saving your money now though. Then it won't sting as badly when you have to pay for it in full. Every $50 helps. Especially when spa treatments are needed!

By then, that will be cruise #10 or #11 on DCL. If they haven't kicked me off yet, I think that I am okay. NO BEHAVING! And of course video of everything!

I would love to go on the TKer cruise but I can't commit to anything yet

4 day cruises are nice because of the day at sea. It's just a little bit more relaxed than a 3 day cruise is.

But it all depends on how much time everyone has available.

Ann, it's the day at sea that gets you all of the extra stuff.

Such as galley tours, demonstrations and such.

It also is a relaxing day with more chance to explore the ship.

I agree the 4 day is nice but the 3 day is also great. To me it doesn't matter how long I'm on the ship, just as long as I can get ON the ship
