We own a ton of Disney movies in this house.

Some days Liz will just sit down and watch a few. She is quite the fan.

I have taught her well

I'd like to trade my VHS's in for DVD's. What's Liz's favorite?

I never post over there but sometimes I do go and lurk around corners to see what is happening

My DH thinks I need to get rid of some of my movies. But I tell him I'm hanging on to the Disney for our grandchildren, even though we don't have any yet . He says they won't be interested....but I beg to differ, their grandma will instill DISNEY in them !

She says that she likes pretty much all of them, just depending on the mood she is in.

The favourites that she mentioned were Little Mermaid, Beaut & the Beast, Peter Pan ~~ any of the older ones.

Most of ours are VHS's. We have a few DVD's but not too many.

Kim, do you know much about the Jan 2007 cruise? Are you planning on it? How many TKers are thinking about going? I'd love to. My DH hates cruises though (retired Navy). So it would be just me.

Mine likes to cruise but since we have gone on so many Disney cruises it might be hard to convince him to go again.

I could go without him maybe but that's not to likely to happen since he likes to cruise. If I said I was going then he will probably be going too

Not much, except that Ann is hoping ALL or Many of the TKers are there! It might be hard for me, as my Dad wants to take us all to WDW sometime after he retires in Feb '06, depending on ALL our schedules (mostly our kids), and Mom doesn't want to go when it's hot , but the kids all have school, and altho I went to WDW BY MYSELF once, for DISCONII, that was when my dh (ok, here's the BIG NEWS--------I didn't mention anything about it here before) lived with us. So, a cruise in Jan '07, leaving my kids with someone (?) and/or taking them out of school (at that time they'd be Freshman in college and 3rd grade), is kinda hard. I'd LOVE to go tho, even tho, before now, a cruise never appealed to me. Meeting TKers DOES tho, no matter the location.

Kim,

if the cruise were a 3 day cruise, they leave on a Thursday and return on a Sunday.

You could fly down on Wednesday night and back on Sunday. At least then they would only miss 2 days of school. That is if you could get a later flight on Wednesday. Of course you could fly down on Thursday morning but that gets a little nerve racking, especially if the weather is not so good.

Of course if Matt is off to college somewhere away from home, that will only leave you and Kelly to worry about and I'm pretty sure missing a few days of school is not going to hurt Kelly's school career.

Hey tinknutt - I thought I told you about the cruise. I know I'm planning on it! I don't know if any other Tkers are going to make it - if not - it'll just be DH and I! :insert sly smile here: We'll have a meet!

Anyway, Dalpal mentioned the possibility of coming as did BrerPapa and (of course) Cruisin & KimRaye. I think Mamudduck mentioned she might go as well - but I haven't heard from her in a while.

So....anyone else interested in a January 2007 cruise? I've already got the time off from work!

Im still interested....but that is over a year away....So Ill not get a commitment from DH for awhile yet...He is not a cruise person...But might go for me because he wants me to be able to meet all of my TKer friends(TN, Everyone says"that my DH spoiles me" also....I think they are right, but who am I to blow again the wind )...I have to admit it would be easier to talk him into WDW then a cruise....But I have time to work on him....we will just have to wait and see ...
I also might have horses again ...Just dont know...yet...

Well the deck is done..and we are waiting the delivery of the spa....DH still has to wire for it..but says" it will only take a few hrs to do"...

My Mom is going to visit with my DSis this weekend ....My DH and I will be all alone...... ...Never realized how importaint getting some alone time is.....I love my Mom......and she is not a demanding person.....BUT...well...Its nice to just have the house to ourselves sometime....you know?...I always feel guilty about being happy to have her go visiting... Silly I know

Anyway...Looks like its going to be nice today....and it Thurs...So Ill be going into town today for my Thurs. lunch day with the DGSs....Although after weighing myself this morning I dont think Ill be eating much I know why too....I made pasta sauce out of my tomatoes all day yesterday and all that tasting did me in....BUT it was my first try and it came out pretty well ....if I do say so myself... So today I dont eat to make up for it.....
