For me alot of it depends on if I am getting the horses back.......Im thinking of skipping a year or two.....I still dont know.....Im sure if I dont get them Ill miss them alot.......but...We could really save some money if we dont get them.....not to mention the work.......but I kinda like the work... :confused3 ...and I can always ride my DGFs horses.... :confused3 ...Im just not sure

~Nothing's Concrete yet...you have time to consider~

I was thinking Ann said Jan 8th, then I realized that that's Robin's cruisin date :confused3

HI ..

I kind of wet Roger's feet a little by mentioning the cruise to him..

He started laughing when I mentioned it was going to be a TK'er meet because he couldn't understand why all of a sudden I wanted to go on a cruise and it all became clear....

We are definately...well I am definately considering it and it won't take much to convince Roger.

But I've never been on a cruise before...how does it work. I didn't understand the prices.. Is that per person? and what about the boys? :confused3

Okay here are the pictures that I have from our mini DISmeet

The first one is of course, Kim, Kelly and myself, enjoying the rocking chairs outside of the Cracker Barrel Restaurant.

And here are the 3 darling young people that we had along with us. Liz, Kelly and Matt. Don't they look excited ::yes::

Thanks for sharing some pictures Robin!

I like the one of the kids... :rotfl: They do look excited.

Someone else should probably confirm this...

but I believe the price is per person based on two adults (double occupancy)

I'll check into it while I'm here...brb

That's what I didn't understand..

price is per person based on two adults.. so Roger and I would be one price then it would be extra for the two boys?

I'll wait to see what you find.. :teeth:

I went to Disney's Cruise line sight,

For you and Roger and the boys (Jan 07 isn't posted-this is Jan 06 prices) it came to $2887 total -category six- which is a regular room, with a verandah.

I'll post a link -jic- I also guessed the boys ages...

http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/dcl/en_US/reserve/reservation

oh thank you....is that for a 4night cruise.. :earseek:

I am going to take a look at that link and see what I can find..

Do you think it would be better to set up a 4 land and 3 sea cruise by package...or just a 3 day cruise and then set up the land thing separately...

Cally.............

If you were to book the exact same cruise that we are going on.... 4 day Jan 8, 2006 .... yourself, Roger, 2 children ages 5 and 8 (I just guessed but it won't make too much difference if I am out a year) Category 12 - the cheapest cabin on the ship (which is still a beautiful cabin) here is the price rundown.

Cally 432.63
Roger 432.64
child 332.63
child 317.63

for a total all inclusive price of $1515.52 for your whole family.

I removed the options of trip insurance and transportation from the airport to the ship.

It just depends on what size of cabin you want and if you need/or want a verandah. Inside cabin/no verandah is a lot cheaper. We never get a verandah because there is so much to do that we aren't in the cabin except to sleep and change. Some people will not cruise without a verandah. Different priorities.

I wouldn't do the land/sea package.

You can set it up yourself much cheaper.

This one would be for us...if its a three day we are planning...not bad

3-NIGHT BAHAMIAN CRUISE

this is a cat 6

Wow..now that is the kind of price I am looking for. I think it's more afordable for us and I don't think we'll miss the verandah much. :cheer2:
