May your stuffing be tasty. May your turkey be plump.
May your potatoes ' n gravy have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious. May your pies (& Betsy's Cheesecake) take the prize.
May your Thanksgiving dinner stay off of your thighs.

All I have to do is bring a ham and some wine, but the cheesecake recipe is one my mom use to make...and its sooo good...This is my chance to make it, have a smalll piece, and leave it there so it wont tempt me the rest of the week....LOL
Its in the 50s today! No more snow...although they say we may get some tomorrow night...

I love it! I think leather furniture is great, but DH doesn't want leather furniture, He's sure the kids will do something to ruin it.Hey, I bought myself a Christmas present today![]()

It is in 3 entirely separate pieces. You can use each piece independantly if you want to. It has a loveseat with 2 reclining chairs and the sofa is a queen sized sofa bed.
I'm tired of sitting on nasty stuff downstairs here and have looked at this set for quite awhile now.
It is on sale and on the way to work I heard on the radio that if you brought in 5 cans of food for the food bank the store would "pay" the taxes on any furniture that you purchased.
Bonus.... that saved me $265.00 minus the cost of the food that I donated.
The only thing is that the set is out of stock and we probably won't get it until mid January. There is a slight chance that we will be able to get on the middle of December.
I don't really mind waiting. I'm not in a real hurry for it, other than when you want something you want it NOW![]()

We're having dinner at 1:30 so people can also visit in-laws. I volunteered to make the turkey and a bunch of other things so I have to be at her house by 6:00 to stuff the bird and have it in the oven by 6:30! Later we'll go to my MIL's for dinner #2! It will work out well. My family's crazy (and incredibly fun) gathering of 26 and then we can wind down at MIL's where it is just us and MIL. Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite day of the year!!
One thing I am thankful for this year is the Tkers! What a wonderful group of "imaginary friends". You are all terrific. Wishing you all a very blessed Thanksgiving with those you love!
As far as rice goes.....I'm half asian so I TOO eat rice with everything! That's just the way I was raised.
What's a meal with no rice?!?!?!
