wow...a lot has gone why while i was having an excellent time in NYC!!! It was SOOOOO much fun..and meeting Aisling, TWB & her friend Rose was an extra special treat....not to mention Capn Jack...but yeah my friend Lora doesn't quite 'get it' YET....we need to "Disneyize' her!!!!

Well i've read thru all the pages i missed...Robin...if I didn't tell you before i left "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"....i sure hope it was!!!!

DH is home...best go spend some time with him ~ till later....

I spent the evening printing and delivering pictures from our North Carolina trip to Rose. Her husband requested a collage of one of the big fish he caught so I made that for Ed tonight. John had me superimpose his face onto a picture of Ed's fish, it's too funny not to come back and share here~

I was looking at some old disney pics from 2002 and the boys both look like babies!! They were so cute!

Now they are monsters!!!

Nsalz, I really didn't plan out the pictures that way. I just happened to be looking through all our pics and noticed we had the same pic from every year!

I wish we would of done more "same pics" every year we've gone so I can show the boys when they are older. I guess it's never too late to start!

And now that Buzz pic will be a tradition! I wish I would of made my youngest get in the first two pics. He must of been cranky at the time or something...

Morning!! It's 66 degrees this morning. Pretty chilly but it's suppose to warm up to 90's.

I was telling DeV this morning that we only have four more sleeps til Disney.

He replied with, "Why do we only stay one week? We should stay 2 weeks because we don't have school the next week."

Which is true...they have fall break the week of Oct. 8 thru Oct. 12. And don't have to be back until Oct. 16.

Of course I had to explain to him due to work obligations and financial reasons (in kid language) 2 weeks would not work.

He continued to ask, "How much does it cost to work at Disney?"

I told him it was FREE to work at Disney! He got up and ran off after that.

Just tell him he was adopted....and if he is bad...HE IS GOING BACK!

Wow!! Good idea! You always have such savy suggestions! (hehehe I said savy)

Yes....it did go fast...WAYYYY TOOO Fast...like most vaca's....but loved the city & look forward to going back...think I'll take DD & maybe DS there sometime in near future...but want to do a couple of the museums (at least Natl History) that we didn't have time to do this trip.....

We didn't see any filming until yesterday a.m. (is 2:50 am really morning?) when we were on our way to the airport....there was a line of military men - and then some guy on 'camera' so wasn't sure what movie that might be...was at the corner of Broadway & 42nd or there abouts.....

yeah glad we left as the whole UN thing was really getting underway.....

Howdy Threadkillers!

Doing errands all morning....haircut, car wash, pick up prescriptions, approve the stationary proof, pick up glasses & disney tickets for tinknutt (I've got a pass - yippee!!)

This afternoon I'm going to make the pasta sauce and the pie. That will give me the time needed to make the actual pasta for tomorrow without rushing. Steaks are marinading for tonight. We might go to SWHNN's son's football game (he's 7th grade and SO cute). If so, I'll make Steak Sandwiches to take with us. I have these awesome rolls....I might do that anyway.
