Morning peoples.

I don't really do costumes either.

It's a cool but sunny bright day here today.

Got woke up by the doorbell this morning. The neighbours across the road couldn't get their huge hulking motorhome out of their driveway without hitting Alex's car (which was parked legally and correctly on the road). So he had to go out and move it for them.

I suppose they could have just ran into it for him

These people can be a bit of a pain. We have a small driveway with limited parking and always park a car on the road in front of our house. One winter they took their pickup truck (used to pull the 5th wheel trailer they had then) and parked it right in the MIDDLE of the available space and left it there for the entire winter They could have moved it forwards or backwards and left space for someone else to park but I know that they did it deliberately that way. I actually saw him park it, get out to make sure it was in the middle and then leave it there.

Oh well, I needed to be up this morning. I have a dance/exercise class at 11 and other things that need to be done.

Yeah...it's been pretty quiet here...

I've been busy at work and am only able to lurk~

How's your day today?

So far I've had a pretty good day, except for the rude awakening with the doorbell this morning

I got up, showered and went to dance/exercise class between 11 and 12.

Grabbed myself a sub and went to work to clear up my desk for a bit.

Stopped and ordered some meat from the butcher shop to be picked up later.

Came home and have been working on cleaning up.

Alex got his new home theater set up yesterday and the basement has been totally trashed

So we've been moving furniture cleaning up stuff etc.

We are having a couple stay with us for the weekend. Well actually they will only be sleeping here because they are here for an airplane competition at our home club.

They will be sleeping downstairs here so now everything has to be put back in order and cleaned fit for company to stay. (which is certainly was not even before the new tv arrived)

So I feel like I'm productive at least.

Then tonight I have 2 more dance classes to go to... hip hop and jazz.

My day is loooong...

The first week back from vacation has got to be the hardest to get thru~

At least I get to leave early tomorrow, hubby and me will probably go have some sushi and pick up a car we are buying from a friend. The honda needed a new distributor-it died on Britt almost two weeks ago. $500 later it'll be coming home to become my daughter's car. John is buying a geo sport type convertible for a few hundred...it'll do. I don't have to share and I can take the top off and pretend it's a jeep

Saturday we have no real plans, sunday morning the Flyers are having an open practice. John, a friend of his and me will go see them play for a while and then I have a bbq at my sister's to go to.

I have to help with the scoring this weekend at the airplane competition.

I have never done it before but it really only involves keying scores into a program on the computer.

How hard can it possibly be

I know...... famous last words

Of course that means I've got to be up and at the airplane field by around 7am each morning

Not my idea of a fun time.

Just at work here......and I AM PEEEEEEEVED!!!!

The guy who works the opposite shift of is from Poland. His father still lives there and is very ill. So he wants to go for 2 weeks. He called and asked me if I can cover for him and I said SURE WILL!

My Boss called me and asked if I will cover for the guy, and I said of course.

....My Boss told the guy NO. His reasoning was that "I said NO"!

WTH??????

I would have never ever said no. and didnt!
