Morning all,

BMS,
Sounds like you did great work!...We need pics!PLEASE!
BTW,
I agree with nsalz, (Good Morning nsalz:sunny:) about the pool day...travel can be hard for little ones....and loss of sleep can give you a very crabby child!..That would be NO fun at CMs...

DU,
HEY!....Where is our man on the scene:3dglasses ....We want reports!:) PLEASE!J/K....Hope you are having a blast, pixiedust: and the weather is good!:sunny:

Well we had a good weekend ...it was alot of fun....
On Sat. we went Hourseback riding...It was nice. Amber(my DGD)really enjoyed it!...I would have liked to go a little faster then a slogging walk, but I know this is not something they will do....These trail places have to be careful. A complete novice could probably fall off pretty easily, even at a slow trot or fast walk. Amber has ridden my horses, so she could have done faster, but it was a hot day, and I felt bad for the horses, so I let it go..and didnt try to get them to speed it up a bit....The scenery was beautiful...and I took lots of pics..I even felt safe turning in my saddle( thats how slow these horses were going:rotfl2:)to get some shots behind me...I was kind of funny ...because I didnt even have to hold the raines..they would just plant their nose right behind the horse in front of them and follow....I even stopped my horse for a sec.(to fix my stirrup.)...and then tried to trot to catch up...there was NO way this horse was going to trot with out serious, effort on my part....:rotfl:

and then on Sunday....We went to the lake and Mike finished up on the plumbing we started last weekend .....The girls and I went swimming... I took the kayak, and Albert and I hung out in the kayak..while we lifeguarded the twins....the older girls had a good time in the paddle boat , guy watching!:rotfl:

So all in all in turned out to be a very fun weekend!...

How was everyone elses weekend?....

Sounds like the baseball fans had a good one!...I dont follow baseball, or football....Not much of a sport fan at all really....
Unless its doing ...not watching...
Well I like to watch, things like Gymnastics, figure skating, and horse stuff, like drassage, and jumping...oh...and I really enjoy watching surfing...Too cool!.....:3dglasses

Well I better go get something to eat for my Mom ....I can hear she's up...
I hope you all have a great Monday!:wizard:

TTFN:wave:

Where is everyone?:confused3

My little girl is hooked on High School Musical. We watched it together last week and now I'm hooked. We now are waiting for the 2nd movie next Friday. Already bought the cd waiting on the DVD. Seeing if they'l have a package deal for both.

Already playing air hockey and darts downstairs. Watched the first football game and the Cubs at the same time. Think the sis is there. Glavine won his 300th at Wrigley. Cubs fans are the best. Gave him a standing O when they thought he was going to leave the game. If it was going to happen, that is the place to do it besides home. I know that if we were going to lose, we'd like to lose in that way. Still think we (myself, (sis totally diehard) ) fans watch the game for the love of the game, can take a loss like that and still see the best in it. Can't wait for football.

DH and I are huge lifelong METS fans. Last night when we were watching the game, when it was still 1-0 DH commented that "if he's going to win #300 at an away game, I hope it's tonight in Chicago, because no matter what, Chicago fans are always a class act". The NY fans appreciated your fans appreciation of the accomplishment!

Morning NSalz! How was the concert?

Morning Betsy! I'm glad you didn't fall asleep on the horse!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Post the pictures if you get a chance!

Hi Everyone!

Take care and I'll chat later!

:crazy2: Tea AND Honey give me the heebie-jeebies. Together or separate. I don't know why, but I get shudders of terror up and down my spine with those two items!

Thanks for the thought, tho! I'll stick with my diet soda and maybe mop the floors instead (afte all....it IS Monday!)

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that I'm back.

It was pretty quiet on here while I was gone.

Just a couple of quick replies..... Ann, I hope Tom doesn't come down with your cold and have it affect his surgery.

Kim........ about the hernia diagnoses....... anytime I can help just feel free to let me know:thumbsup2 ;)

I'm definitely not into any kinds of sports. So the baseball talk, along with most of what Colleen was telling us about the Warp Tour goes right over my head:confused3

Rory, glad to hear you have your basement pretty much completed. We'd love to see some pictures. ::yes::

DU, hope you are having fun.

Brenda, nsalz, pd, Betsy and all other threakillers and lurkers, a big hello. I've missed you all while I was away.

It was a successful weekend away.

Rick came home with a first place standing in his level of the competition:thumbsup2

I won a DVD player in a raffle. We already have 2 DVD players, so I don't know for sure what I will do with this one but I'll find a home for it eventually.

I was trying to win a new BBQ :confused3

I'm not complaining though.

Rick also got a prize of a 100 gasoline gift card and some sort of small Black and Decker sander.

So we came away with a fairly good haul. :woohoo:

YES they light is shining bright!! Finished that project an hour ago & don't have the production mtg for yet another hour!!!

Yeah i'm sure James is keeping DU quite busy -or the other way around!:rotfl2:

Betsy, my dad doesn't even have a tv. He just didn't show much interest in it the last little while at home, so we didn't bother to bring him one to the home.

My mom just bought a new DVD player and I don't think Rick's parents would ever use one:confused3

Well, I suppose one of those children will permanently move out sooner or later:rotfl:

It was hot where I was all weekend too. Today it is rainy here at home but it is still very warm and humid. Weather forecast for the rest of the week is high temperatures with high humidity readings.

Since it's raining and I haven't seen my dad in a while I think I'll go and visit this afternoon.

I'm thinking of asking my mom if she wants to go and see Hairspray tonight. Tuesday night is "cheap" night at the movie theater;)

Cool prizes! WHen we win something that we already have, I give it to a charity at Christmas time so that they can give it to a family that can't afford gifts for the kids. We won a TV once and didn't need it so that's what we did with it.

That sounds like a great idea PD.

If it is still sitting here at Christmas that's probably where it will go.

:wizard: Thinking of you tonight Tom and wishing you a successful surgery and an extra speedy recovery.

:thumbsup2
