Didja know Disney corp got the rights back to Walt's original, original character Oswald the Rabbit? Ayup, traded football commentator Al Michaels for it

I just got all my ingredients for French Toast Casserole but Wal-Mart only had Dark Corn Syrup...

it's just to pour on afterwards....won't make a difference....i personally don't like syrup so i'll have mine with butter / sugar & cinnamon - yummmmm

Hi everybody.

I've got the stuff I need to make the french toast casserole too.

I just have to make sure that I remember to make it

I've filled all the stocking here already.

The kids are all sitting in the same room with them and nobody has remarked on it yet, so they must not have noticed

I just got down preparing the F.Toast Cass... It's in the fridge.. So I'll finish it with the topping in the morning before I throw it in the oven.

We just got done making chocolate candy lollipops that we'll bag and give to the grandparents tomorrow.

How does Santa get in if we don't have a chimney

And I opened an email in front of them from Roger and he was asking if they opened their PJ's yet...

Santa used to use different wrapping paper when he came to our house

Santa does not need a chimney to get into the house. Santa has his own brand of magic He just gets in

Yes, it is quite amazing that they remembered from last year.

Maybe they saw it somewhere around the house during the past year

I made my french toast casserole.

Did you manage to fit 16 slices of bread all in one layer??

I didn't use a loaf of french bread so my slices were probably bigger than they should have been.

I made two layers, so hopefully it will still be okay.

I'll let you know tomorrow how it turns out.

I had about 12 slices of bread... I thought there were suppose to be two layers.. I ended up using a smaller pan so I could have two layers.

I thought I cut them too thick also and kept asking Dante if they were one inch thick

What I did was poured the mixture on to each slice of bread then laid the second layer and poured the rest on the second layer...just to make sure both layers were coated enough.

I don't know.. I'll let ya know how it turns out as well... I might take pictures just to amuse you guys...

Oh yea and it's possible they DID see the wrapper under my bed. I have a bed skirt but they could of been playing hide n seek or something...

I told them that Santa had to borrow some of our wrapper

Explained that Santa comes in through the keyhole because he's magical like that... DeV said "NO, I think he has a key" to which I said "maybe he has a magic key"

Then I told them that I emailed Roger real quick to tell him about the pj's. They seemed to buy it

So we will have to see what happens in the morning.

i made two layers as well.....wanted to use up the whole loaf of bread....so we will all have to compare....i even got my SIL making this tomorrow a.m.

i always bought (& hid) a special roll of paper...then whatever was left from that roll i used the next year to wrap Mom & Dad gifts...the roll from SC was left by the gifts...so they knew he left it for us....NOW Ryan has NEVER ever said he doesn't believe...& i still threaten him that Santa won't come

I heard lil footsteps this morning and whispering.... I think the kids came and peeped at the gifts then went back to their rooms I'm surprised they didn't come wake me up!

Robin, last year Dante asked me if Santa wasn't real because a kid at his bus stop told him he wasn't. DeV was there backing me up saying "of course he's real". I told Dante that everyone believes different things and that it was okay to have our own beliefs. He never asked me or said anything about it after that. I have been wondering as well if he still believes....he sure did seem pretty excited lastnight and played along real well when we were tracking Santa online.

Well I'm going to go start my topping for the French Toast and stick it in the oven

Brenda sounds like you had a busy FUN night! yes it was....MY MIL really loved her photoframe...& even cried a little...with DSIL's help i was able to load photos of her & my FIL before they were married - so dated back to 1948 thru now...total of 329 photos...i saved that one till the very end....
