Quick, go park your car, then get a couple of jugs of water and pour it all around the back and side of your car. If it is freezing, he might get a suprise when he puts out the cans!!!

Hi Grumpy Pirate

Thanks for the Breast Cancer Awareness tags!

my favourites are the ones with the little candy balls on them;)

speaking of candy...................whta are the ones you want, that I saw in WalMart last christmas?

I just read Grumpypirate's suggestion to Britt and my MIL and they said you should wait til he puts his cans out, take the water, pour it on the ground under the cans and put them back so they freeze to that spot :lmao:

Seems to me that would work QUITE well :lmao:

This is what the box looked like last year at Christmas time when we got them.

We really enjoyed them a lot.

I've been keeping my eyes open and looking for them everywhere but so far no luck:confused3

If you can find them DU, I'd be happy to pay you back for some:thumbsup2

Let me know if you happen to spot any.

Those look yummy! I found some peppermint kisses at Wal Mart the other day. It had bits of peppermint broken in it. :thumbsup2

Except that would be bad for the trash guys! The act of putting them out with "black ice" might induce a prat fall!!!:rotfl2:

I love yogurt with bananas...They are perfect together....You dont even need a spoon, I just dip the banana in the yogurt:thumbsup2 ...Well I guess you DO need a spoon to finish up the yogurt in the bottem:upsidedow
My favorite is strawberry...but cherry is good too....I really dont like the blueberry or lemon tho....and I really like liquorice too....but its "Good-N-Plentys", that I love!

DU,
I think its a good thing that your mom has decided to do it.....it will make her feel better in the long run..I bet:thumbsup2

My Mom thought I was her sister yesterday...:confused3 ...She knew my name, but when I asked her who I was to her....She guessed that I was her sister...:sad2: ...I told her I must be starting to look old to her....LOL..
Its very sad....But it doesnt seem to bother her that she cant remember things...She just shrugs, and says that it really hard to remember , and thanks me for reminding her....That is what Im here for:upsidedow

So I think Ill be catching up on my DVRs.....I have two weeks of "Heroes" to catch up on....I had to tell my DGF to not talk about the show until I catch up....

and I have "Bionic woman" recorded and havent seen one of them yet...Has anyone seen that show?....Is it worth my time, or just another crappy remake?....

It's cherry:confused3

I use to not like yogurt either but then one day I decided to give it another try. So I got the Yoplait yogurt and it wasn't so bad. :3dglasses

Dante lovesssssssssss yogurt but he eats anything

Hmmm... I wonder if cheese and bananas go together. You know, like people eat cheese with their apple pies.. now that's strange to me. :upsidedow
Cally....if you ever get the Yoplait (or Dannon) "STRAWBERRY" yogurt...those strawberries are ours....

:thumbsup2 I WILL BE AT WALMART TODAY!

Nestle plant here in Watsonville used to make those candy bars....they used to bring us boxes of them around the holidays...but the plant closed years ago :sad2:

Betsy...i watched one episode of Bionic woman - 1st one i think...it wasn't worth my time....but then again - maybe one episode (shouldn't) be the basis for making that determination. But then again....I try to only watch about 2 hrs of TV a wk & Tivo about 4.....so i really cut it to the "must" watch....

So instead of working on my printer last night - so i could finish my Xmas letters...i spent 2 hours at Verizon since my 5 mo. old Treo was stuck in 'reset' mode for an hour....it took them THAT long to figure out they need to replace it as it's still under warranty. And just as the store clerk placed the order with the warranty dept. she got the phone to reset & start back up.....:confused3 - of course it erased all my data etc. but that was an easy fix - just needed to re-sync to my laptop.....but i can't get it connected to the car 'hands free' system - but Lexus did that for me originally - so may need them to do it again....and 'show' me how. Now i have a new phone coming tomorrow too...so gotta decide which one to send back....uggghhhhh

Cally....if you ever get the Yoplait (or Dannon) "STRAWBERRY" yogurt...those strawberries are ours....

I do get the Strawberry too :thumbsup2 So cool ;)

Betsy, I didn't like Bionic woman either. I watched about 3 episodes. They were all boring. :confused3

I am caught up on Hereos....I really like Hereos but I'm afraid it's heading in the same direction as that show Lost.... :confused3

Brenda, I'd go with the new one! I mean you lost all your programs and data anyways right? :3dglasses

DU, I'm glad to see your mom decided to go with the procedure. I hope it works!! :wizard:

Oh and as far as the light blub goes... It wasn't me! :confused3

Who here likes meatloaf?? No, not the singer.. ;)

I was thinking of making meatloaf...

Does anyone have a good simple recipe for meatloaf?:confused3 I looked at a few online so I can always use those if no one has any.

I probably won't be making it tonight because most likely I won't have all the ingredients...but maybe for tomorrow night.

i like meatloaf...the food AND the singer!!!! i'll bet Ann has a great recipe...but mine is:
1 1/2 lbs ground sirloin
1 can diced tomatoes (spice it up a little with the mexican jalapeno)
1 c. dried bread crumbs or oatmeal
1 egg
seasonings (i use salt - pepper - garlic)
bake until done (1 hr at 350 i think)...personally the best meatloaf pan is the Pampered Chef loaf stoneware....
