Hey~ I got a new tag

I finished my first ever scrapbooking today!

I did up some pages for my Mom~

I did a half dozen pages no problem tonight...Brenda, I took pictures of the first couple... Don't tell Mom, it's a surprise

When I load them I'll share them...my camera is in my room right now and John is finally sleeping...

I didn't really finish them as much as I started them for my mom. She gave me pics of her and my niece from their last trip and I mounted those on the pages. I left room for comment boxes and stickers and other embellishments for my Mom to add at her leisure. I have a Disney embellishment set and journaling papers and a CM (non bleeding) marker to complete the set.

that is very cool...can't wait to see them~no worries...won't ruin that very cool surprise!!

That is really great...the first album i made for my mom was photos of her as a little girl that i inherited from my Grandmother. There were no stories...no journaling...not even dates or names on these photos...but i put them in the best chronological order i could & gave Mom pens to journal with. She did pretty good!!!

uuuggghhhhh....Xmas cards are ready...envelopes addressed but now my printer is messing up....it isn't printing the right colors....that's the stuff i have no patience for...especially when i can't do anything about it...so best to walk away & figure it out or get a new one tomorrow....going to bed now....l8r~

YES...Its still morning, but just barely....It took all this time to read up on all I missed.....Cally, and DU, are a couple of chatty Disers....

The Christmas tree sounds nice Cally.....and We love to cut our own tree down and have done it for quite a few years, until last year....when we found this really nice prelit tree...and I have to admit it was very nice to just go up in the attic, and drag it down and set it up in less then an hr...and we stayed nice a warm too! BUT I miss the nice smell...

I have never heard of bluespruce sap hurting anyone. ..I had a row of BS, where I lived befor, and always had sap on me...(never burned, but it is a B**** to get off)...
I hope your mom, is better soon...Maybe she will change her mind after talking to her friend...
We got that bad weather on Sat. night and Sunday morning...Even cancelled our chridtmas carols party, until next Sunday....Just as well ...as I have a cold starting, and would have been hard pressed to sing anything.....

I dont have to worry about inlaws, Mikes Mom died when he was 6 YO, and his dad 5 years ago...BUT his dad was 93,.and sharp as a tack, always lived by himself, in the same house he grew up in and the same house Mike grew up in....(with Mikes brother living in the apt above him.....)

I still have no idea what to get my Mom....
But she wont even know its christmas until I tell her that morning..(when the kids arrive)..,,....and then again later in the day,(when everyone is leaving)and then again ..later in the evening...( when my sister arrives)..... and she will try to go home with everybody when they go....She just doesnt get it that she lives here, and has for the last 6 years(almost 7 now)...
At least she still knows who I am.....

I've been dealing with work and a telephone that did NOT work

The phone works again, the wires were corroded at the house and I went to work and came back again..

Alex got up at 4 am and did his typical Monday commute to college, usually 4 hours drive but left extra time today to compensate for the weather. He got there and there were 4 cars in the parking lot College was closed due to weather conditions.. So he is spending his day in his motel room with his laptop, playing games, watching tv and catching up on his sleep.

The weather is not really very nice today. It is extremely windy with a bit of snow flying around. It's not overly cold though so that at least is good.

DU....we would never ignore you & did answer your question (pages & pages ago) about what Creative Memories is...& maybe Colleen did again on one the pgs i haven't gotten to yet...but in case she didn't...it's a home based business for Scrapbook / photo album classes & supplies. I truly believe in preserving all of our memories (trips..daily activities...family traditions etc. in CM photo albums) to pass down to generations to come....

Cally - it was a GREAT day...& i FINISHED my april WDW / Cruise album - but not all journaled yet....so here's a few pages from my '05 cruise album to give you all an idea of Creative Memories

Nope he has not put his garbage out yet.

Of course it is very chilly and windy out, so maybe he didn't want to go outside

He did watch me this afternoon as I was backing into the parking space in front of his house Stood at the window as he was talking on the phone

Right now the space in front of his house is totally empty. Liz has gone to work, my car is in the driveway and Rick's van is parked further down the street.

I use to not like yogurt either but then one day I decided to give it another try. So I got the Yoplait yogurt and it wasn't so bad.

Dante lovesssssssssss yogurt but he eats anything

Hmmm... I wonder if cheese and bananas go together. You know, like people eat cheese with their apple pies.. now that's strange to me.
