Brer_Papa, sorry to disappoint you but no turkey legs, no Dole Whips, didn't stay to see Wishes but I did have a Mickey Bar!!!!!

I thought of you when I rode on Splash Mountain and saw the part the said The Laughing Place . Unfortunately I got quite wet on Splash Mountain and went to lunch with Ann and Tom with a wet uuuummmmppp. behind

We had no need for fast passes at any time while we were there. We did Magic Kingdom from 8:15 am until noon and had done pretty much everything ...... most everything was walk right on......... walked right up to the loading area of Splash Mountain and on the next car that came through!!!!!!!!! It was like that on most rides. We waited the longest for the boat ride through The Land at Epcot if you can believe it

I got lots of comments on my birthday button and had Happy Birthday sang to me in the ride line while waiting for the Astro Orbiters!!

Brer_Papa, I heard a CM at Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, refer to another backstage as Ern and wondered if it could be your Ernie, but probably not, huh!

Thanks to all Thread Killers for your concern about us while we were "confined to our rooms" during Hurricane Jeanne. I spent a lot of time looking out the window, watching the rain and trees blowing and the IDIOTS in the pool swimming during the middle of a hurricane !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I refuse to answer any questions as to what we did with all of those hours that we were stuck in our room, on the grounds that it might incriminate me (and this is a family board!!) . But honestly Disney owns how many movies?????????? You think they could play more than 3 different ones during all of that time

Hi Ann, yes I noticed that your number was on my phone but we also had another call.

If was from one of our employees. There was a machine my husband was interested in looking at to buy in South Carolina. Well they said they would give him the next chance to look at it but if he wouldn't come in a timely fashion (like right away) they would go to the next people who were interested.

Well, let me think, we are on vacation in Florida, how are we supposed to get to South Carolina to look at a machine and who the heck cares about a silly machine when they are in the Magic Kingdom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were talking at the airport today about what was the best part of the trip etc. Rick said to me .......... your favourite part was probably getting to meet Ann ......... to which I replied, Yes, you are right (and also Tom of course, he really is such a cutie, just like you always try to tell us )

So happy to hear everyone's safe & sound.

I couldn't get the internet to work all day. My poor DH, I kept phoning him during the day and then he came home .....the first thing I asked him wasn't "How was your day" But "PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE fix the internet NOW!"

Going through very bad withdrawal , seeing as I wasn't home on the weekend to DIS.

Now I want to know is I specifically book my WDW vacations in late Oct./early Nov. because the weather is great and no hurricanes ( we were in WDW back in Sept'89 when Hugo was pouring down on us ) The weather IS going to be OK in 3 weeks isn't it????

Mammuduck - sorry about the internet. I think you'll be okay for your trip. I'm planning on hurricane season being over! This was just an unlucky year for everyone in Florida. There are some places where all you'll find is hearbreak.

Cruisin - as for karaoke.....I ain't no Whitney Houston, but I LOVE to sing! Not too shy about getting out there, either. Will you be on the cruise? I have a feeling that BrerPapa and I will be the entertainment! Of course, I'm always willing to do a duet with my primo DIS pal! Man, that was a good time! I can't wait til we can do it again! I had a good time with the birthday button, too. A nice Disney cop sang happy birthday to me and the hokey-pokey was a riot!

I could use a holiday though. Do you believe my supervisor actually asked how I project I had been working on and if I would be done soon!?! Wanted to tell him where he could take it.

I can see this thread just rolling along again, faster than ever with our 2 travelin' gals back now.

The 'meet' was really nothing more than the Fulcers and DD & I. My cousin and her 2 girls came to the ice show with us, but then left after to get home to her DH and DS, so just the Fulcers and us, which was fine, ordering went quite quickly! LOL The Fulcers came over a couple hours before we left for the show, so we got to discuss 'gifted' DDs, which eased my mind a bit more, as well as other DIS stuff and DDs.

So, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
