Ann, when you hit the post a reply button don't you have some smilies that are on the left hand side right beside the box where you type your reply to the post????

MrMouseFan, I don't have a "get more" option - just the blah smilies attempting to appease me. It's not working.

Cruisin, all I have is something that has "Your Reply" and see the forum rules for more information about what codes you are allowed to use in your post. I guess the DISBoards don't like me too much. Maybe you have to be "tagged" to use more smiles.

Again - vanilla pudding is still good......chocolate usually sells out at finer restaurants first, but vanilla is a good standby!

I'm doing good tonight. Not too tired but I should probably get some sleep sometime soon too.

It is fun to hang out here at night, but it is also addicting and causes sleep deprivation

KimRaye, a category 2 hurricane has winds of 105. A Cat3 has winds between 111-130. It'll tear the roof off your house. The good news is, it will travel through a bit of land before it hits us and they usually weaken over land. Our DS is the GM of the Jacksonville Airport, so he's actually staying AT the airport! Unfortunate, but it has to be done.

When we comissioned our house to be built, we were in the middle of Hurricane Floyd, a Category 5 hurricane. That has winds in excess of 155 and was headed straight for us. Fortunately, it went out to sea and just dumped a bunch of rain.

I don't have a clue about the Forum Rules (mine appear WAY below the smilies), but there IS a vB Code box, which 'asks' Normal mode or Enhanced Mode. Maybe you get the extra smilies under Enhanced mode?

Actually, I DID hear 111, but wasn't sure if my number was EXACT, so I just posted 100+. Yikes, that's devastating!

Okay Ann try this


look at the top under DISboards where it says User Cp

Click on that and then click on Edit Options

Go down to where it says Other Options near the bottom of the page.

Right below that is a spot that starts out saying Use VB code...........

Make sure that yes is the box selected in the spot


See if that gets you your smilies.
