~My Mom is the SOG fanatic~

She prefers the old rooms-she likes having the divider wall in the room. We are staying in a suite this time, I will definitely post my reviews when we return. I (of course) would be happy anywhere in WDW!

BP-Be Careful! We can't have Santa (uh, I mean you) injured with the holidays coming!

I'm actually still at work, preparing my boss' notes for tomorrow's big meeting...I may have to do the work but he'll be the one here on Saturday...;)

good night all...for real this time.

I'm going to get me some dinner!
Pizza and milkshakes? Sounds like a plan to me!

(It is my turn to whine now ::yes:: )

Hollyann, I hope you feel better soon :(

Took my daughter to her riding lesson tonight. For some unknown reason they were riding in the outdoor arena instead of the indoor one. Man, was it ever chilly out :crazy2: So I walked around and talked to horses in their stalls (and I'm not a real horse lover) I held a few kitty cats for awhile to warm me up too :p Just had some hot chocolate to warm up the inside of me and I think I am good to go now.

We are leaving for Philadelphia early Sunday morning and returning on late on Monday or sometime on Tuesday if it gets too late to make it back.

I hope I get to sleep in tomorrow morning. I need it ::yes:: , except I will probably be tempted to hang out on here late knowing I don't have to get up too early tomorrow.

Hi everyone! Wow! It was yummy! The low-carb stuffing tasted just like regular, you really couldn't tell the difference.

I served green beans (canned) instead of just heating them up, I sauteed them in a little butter & pepper.

I made cauliflower mashed potatoes. Basically you cook cauliflower like potatoes and I mashed them, but instead of just adding cream & butter I also added cream cheese & cheddar cheese. Aside from boiling cauliflower, I added a couple cloves of garlic to the pot, too! They were great!

The chicken was moist & yummy and I made gravy. Instead of regular flour..........soy flour........you couldn't tell the difference!

The pumpking cheese cake was a hit. We also baked a sweet potato for the "boys" as they weren't watching their carbs.....however, they got butter, cinnamon & Splenda, rather than sugar.

Instead of cranberry sauce, I made a strawberry puree with a touch of cinnamon.

Nobody missed the sugar or the carbs. We're full!

Hope ya'll have a great night. We really enjoyed playing with GS. He's a cutie pie. DH is feeling bad and Mom called and Dad's feeling poorly, too. I'm afraid if he doesn't show improvement, they're going to stick him back in the hospital. Me..........the doc called in 2 prescriptions to the pharmacy and I feel MUCH better!

Hollyann I am glad that you are feeling better. Too bad everyone else is not.

I hope tomorrow is a better day for everyone.

It sure sounds like you had a feast today.

I saw a recipe lately for mashed cauliflower::yes::

Ditto! Stay up late, sleep in tomorrow, works for me! ;)

Ann, sorry to hear the news about you. I'm glad the meds are starting to work already!

BP, cookie please? Smells dee-lish! ::yes::

Robin, DD had me stock up on hot chocolate mix at the first sign of cold weather. :D

PC & TW, how were those pizzas and milkshakes? Sounds yummy.

 DalPal, and anyone else I may have missed.

I took DD to school today, and I went off to work feeling cruddy like the last 2 days, fever-hot and then shivering-cold. About 10:45 school called to say DD was not feeling well. :( I think she was trying to hide from me how she felt because she had a planned sleep-over at my brother's tonight, with my niece, besides art class after school, and a fun fair with them tomorrow. Illness doesn't hide though unfortunately. :( I was happy to go get her, as I didn't think I'd last the day anyway. NOTE: I stopped and bought a new digital thermometer, for the ear, so I'd know exactly how lousy we were. My fever was higher than hers. She took some Motrin and felt amazingly better, for several hours anyway. I however took some cough medicine, pill form, and forgot to take any Motrin, so a few hours later, my fever was even higher. Silly Mommy...took some Motrin then! DD went to bed with more Motrin, some cough syrup that makes her tummy feel pukey, and a Tums for the tummy. She's coughing in her sleep as I type.

Looks like a weekend in my jammies..........which is OK with me, except I really DO need to get some outside-the-house stuff done, too. :(

Enjoy YOUR weekends everyone! ::yes:: :sunny:

Sorry to hear you're not feeling so well KimRaye....hope you feel better real soon.....

As far as the pizza goes..it was good at the time...now I feel bloated! LOL I had two slices...but they were small slices... We decided to skip the milkshakes... we got a movie instead and came straight home... so it was pizza and a movie....

We watched Shrek 2. It was funny! Dh and the kids loved it. Now everyone is asleep. DH passed out first, but he was up at 4am..the kids are in bed but I still hear them talking... and I'm here... click click clicking away... princess:

Kim, I hope you feel better soon too!!!! Weren't you just sick not that long ago???

I remember that my daughter used to cough in her sleep all the time when she was younger. She would cough, cough, cough and sleep right through it all. I, on the other hand, would hear her coughing and be awake all night long. :(

:wave2: PrincessaC, quiet houses are nice aren't they ::yes::

Ooh, Kim, I hope you feel better. The crud is going around. Make sure you take care of yourself first - that's the only way you'll be able to take care of those you love.

PrincessaC - I loved Shrek2! When Dad is feeling more up to it, I plan to purchase it as a get well gift. He has the original and LOVES those types of movies. I laughed myself silly on that one. I plan to see the Incredibles on Monday.

Cruisin - Like you, I'm not a horse lover. They seem to want to buck and bite when they're around me. I would have cuddled the kittens all day, though. I love puppies & kitties - truly one of God's better ideas!

BP - I'll take a cookie...........you just remove the carbs & calories but not the taste and I'm all set!

TW - you done working? We haven't heard from you for a few hours (you're a regular - fer sure!) so I presume you're not at your work computer!

Take care.........DH is already in bed........poor guy. I'm headed that way myself very soon as we plan to go out for b'fast......what?......no one's surprised at that?

ahhhhh yessss..... a quiet house.... i have the window open too... i can hear the rain outside... it's nice. :)

Ours just came in the mail today. We saw it at the show when it came out, and I thought it started off kinda slow, but it picked up, and ended up being pretty funny. :p Not as funny as the first though, imo. ;)

66 pounds ago, I didn't know bloated, I was fat, what's the difference? NOW I know bloated, and it's very uncomfortable. Try and drink some water. ;) I know it's the LAST thing you want to do, but the water flushes. ::yes::

Hollyann, sounds like a great gift to give.... I can't wait to see the Incredibles... I also saw the preview for Madagascar (w/ the zoo animals) it looked pretty funny.......Oh and there's another one..w/ the cars... I can't think of the title..anyone know??

KimRaye, water??? what is that?!?!?! LOL that reminds me..I have an ice cold bottle of water in the fridge... I think I'll go get it...

Started 10/1! Got better, I guess, now this is the 2nd go-round. And I know what you mean about hearing them all night. I'm always listening for the cough-so-hard-about-to-vomit cough. :crazy2: And DS was sick, not too long ago, for 2 weeks himself. :(

Ann, my DS just came home from the Incredibles, he loved it, but says it's NOT for kids! (I think Pixar has bad feelings for Disney - ya think?) :( Breakfast?? ROFLOL Enjoy!

DS says it's called "Cars", go figure. ;) He also said the Madagascar preview looked funny, geared towards adults (almost 17 himself ya know). ;)
