Who feels like a Thread-Killer? Part 2

Actually this silver coffee set looks pretty good for not being out of the box in all of those years. There is just a little bit of tarnish on it.

The problem I have is that there is no place to display this sort of thing.

My mom has an antique china cabinet that she gave to me. The only problem is getting someone to move it here for me. There are too many people with bad backs in this family. We (the business) have a pick up truck, so maybe I will have to talk somebody into helping me get it across town.

Kim, I don't want to be insensitive or upset you with your recent loss, so if you don't want to read the rest stop right here .............

The only problem is my mom says that whatever is in the china cabinet goes with it when it moves from her house. No problem you say ................... except................... my grandmother's ashes are in there  She died 7 or 8 years ago and my mom always says she is going to bury her sometime but hasn't done it yet. I told her, okay, send grandma over too!!!!! I will take care of her :teeth: I will be burying her right quickly.

Well, Brer_Papa, I am a regular Harlequin Romance Novel reader, so I would be interested in your story.

Have you seen the stuff Harlequin sells these days ..... :earseek: :earseek: :earseek: , some of it is pretty racy and risque. Wasn't like that when I first started to read them.

Remember when we dreaded page 150?

When we thought the thread would die....

I remember it well, what a party we had then  . It was great.

Reminds me of montessori and all of the wonderful clip arts that she posted around that time. She was the queen of the clip arts ::yes::

I have to go and try and get some rest. Morning comes all too quickly.

I will be looking forward to the "Reader's Digest" condensed version of your Harlequin Romance Brer_Papa :Pinkbounc

Not at all insensitive Robin. MIL was cremated, and I suspect my FIL has 'collected' her ashes by now. As late as last year I think, FIL finally buried his own Mom's ashes, after MIL kept the urn in a display case for many years. So, I know how that goes. FIL thought ahead when MIL passed tho...he got a 2-sided 'container', so he can keep her until he passes, and then we get to bury them both. ;)

I do, I do, all too well! I'm soo thankful to the moderator-fairies for keeping us alive......even though we would've just started another thread. ;) I think they might have known that. ::yes::

Robin, I must hit the hay also. DD has woke up 3 times already, so this will be a long night I suspect. :( Looks like no school/work for Thursday.

"My Wedding Day! My Wedding Day" she thought over and over throughout the day.

The thought made her smile. Even though the day seemed to be flying by to her, the smile never faltered.

The wedding ceremony over and the reception halfway through, she watched her husband across the dance floor.

"MY husband" replaced her wedding day thought as her eyes found his.

Their eyes spoke volumes to each other.
Words of love. Love that brought them to marriage and the love they would share soon. As Husband and wife.

Their gaze told each to the other of the lust that was building within them . Both impatient for the reception to be over but reconciled to the fact they had to wait.

Wait for the Bridal dance to conclude. At that moment, she was taken into the arms of a man she was not even sure of his name. A distant relative of her husbands she knew, even though his name escaped her.

With her smile in place, he whisked her across the floor. "He's a good dancer" she thought, but it was her Husbands arms she wanted around her. Her husbands body tight to hers.

She looked over once again. Her Husband was dancing with her cousin.

She felt a small pang of jealousy! "That's MY man!" her mind shouted. Unheard to anyone but her.

For the first time that day, her smile left her.

She felt his eyes on her as he danced with her cousin. She looked up and was surprised to see the other couple so close.

He had led his dance partner to her. Even thoughthey were in the arms of others, he leaned towards her. His lips getting closer to hers.

Her smile returned. Only to be lost again when their lips touched. It seemed as if the room was getting warmer to her.
She wanted more. More than just this kiss. However, her dancing partner danced her away from her husbands kiss.

Finally, that song was over. Husband and wife stood alone in the middle of the dance floor. She saw how long the line of men waiting to dance with her was.

The newly married couple heard the band start the next song. Her head went down, not wanting to disappoint the next man in the Bridal dance line, not wanting anyone to see the desire she felt for her husband.

She felt an arm go around her. A strong arm. A hand took hers. A large hand.

She looked up. It was HER husband. HER man. He had stepped in front of the line to dance with his wife. She smiled up at him. He held her close. They danced.

She could feel he wanted her as badly as she wanted him.

They danced.

Not exactly what I deleted...I rounded it out....added details so it was more readable...hope you don't mind...

:earseek: :earseek: Brer_Papa, wonderful story ::yes::

You did a great job, did you ever think about becoming a Romance writer. Of course you would have to change your name to Billie, because most women won't buy romance stories written by male authors (which is huge discrimination don't you think   )

I suppose you could write using your initials and your last name, maybe you better use your proper name though because B.O. ___
doesn't quite have the best sound to it

Keep up the good work. If you ever write any more stories I would be glad to read them and give you my opinion on them.

Dalpal, you married quite young didn't you!!! By my calculations I was just starting into Grade 12 when you got married. Glad to hear that you are still together after all of those years. Funny store about your husband and his brother :p
