GREAT nap! You ever had one of those naps where you lay down and sleep so hard it's like you slept all night? That was my nap today!

It's been cloudy here today, but no rain - that's a first for a LONG time!

BP, I agree with your assessment of Cruisin & Kim's character....however, you made one small error - you forgot to include yourself in that illustrious group. You're not slouch in the friendship department, either! Ya'll are a big reason I keep coming back.

i think those 2 set the tone for us...



well now....what i didn't say yet is...I am home alone...

PA took her Mom to the Albion Fair...

so...after geeking around a while...i got bored....started juggling some bric-a-brac...

and! Underneath the bic-a-brac were post-it notes...

"Do Not Juggle!
Put this back where you found it!"

so...i look around...and put them back...

i was stil bored....so...i got out my NEW chinese checkers...so I could practice....in case Chinese Checkers makes a comeback..

but...that was boring....

when it dawned on me....the metal cover with the multi-colored star should fly as well as a frisbee.....and should look pretty cool spinnng in flight....

so...i put some pants on and when outside....

as soon as the neighbor lady saw me...and what I was doing....she sent her kids on the other side of her house to play....

I can't figure that one out....

anyway...after she sends her kids off...she takes up a stance I can only describe as a hockey goalie....

she's moving side to side....bouncing up & down...i think she's losing it.....

anyway....the lid flew real good....and real far....

poor neighbor lady.....the window man showed up at 7:00....

she should take goalie lessons....she didn't get within 25 feet of the lid....

I hope the grass stains come out of her blouse....

anyway...that didn't cure the boredom...

so...i went back inside....

I put on most of my one-man-band when Brer_Yodeler..the teacher...not me....called...

seems there is a multitude of requests to get cordless phones for the phone booths....and he is taking names of those who want one...

What the heck do you need a cordless phone in a phone booth for?

what a silly idea....

that unbored me until I hung up....

so, I finished putting on my one-man-band stuff....

went back outside....and played until the window man brought me the bill....

we dickered...

I payed half....

I am now officially unbored...

so...between postings...I'm going on a "post-it" hunt....i want to see how many "Do not Juggle" signs there are....

Hey, Luckymommy, I am almost everywhere on these boards, mainly though I post on the CB, DisneyCruise Board , Canadian Board but I do look at lots of the other boards depending on how bored I am and what I might want to find out.

Yep it is the pits when you get ignored isn't it? Sometimes I will post a comment that I think is very profound and worthy of at least a mention .......... but it is passed right over like it was never even posted I once started a thread ........ Do you ever feel like you are being ignored..........?

BP, you had TOO much time on your hands. If you're ever here in hurricaneville - I LOVE Chinese Checkers! Such a fun game! I loved those old tins that held the marbles inside. One of my favorite things about a movie you recently starred in (Santa Claus 2) was when all the old/antique toys were opened at the staff party!

Oh, get this!!! The Chicago Cubs (well quite a few of them) are taking a WDW trip with fans! It's through AAA. I SOOOO want to go on this trip!! I even told my dh. For me, it would truly be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, to travel with the Cubs, and visit WDW!! My 2 FAVE things/places!!!! It's 12/2-12/6, which was the usual DISCon time, which I went solo to in 2002, so I feel I really shouldn't go again, solo, and AT that same time, again. DDs BD is 12/8. Waaaaaaahhhh!

I had the busiest day, so far, at work today. I know there will be many others though. I don't mind at all though, it keeps me on my toes, even when I feel like I'm forgetting something, or everything. Our fax machine, and our phone lines were burning HOT today. Makes me feel needed though, and I like that.

My favorite team used to be the Steelers who still have a special place in my heart but right now it's a toss up between Seahawks and Saints. If I had to pick one I guess I'd go with the Saints. You have Brooks (who is in his make or break year), Stallworth who has the potential to have a breakout year, McAlister (need I say more), Joe "the beer-man" Horn, and Boo. Now who couldn't love a guy named Boo!?! I go up against my brother this weekend which could get ugly.

Luckymommy, to answer your question about the Castaway Cat.... I can answer honestly that yes, there is at least one cat on Castaway Cay. How do I know???????? Because I have seen it myself It was sitting quite quietly right by the sidewalk where everyone walks and I stopped to say hello to it. I am not sure about the pictures posted of the Castaway Cat, the one I saw was not orange for sure, it might have been the other one though. I recall it to be quite skinny and having a chewed up ear.

Kim, that trip to WDW with your favourite team sounds great. Are you sure you couldn't manage it??? You would be home in time for your daughter's birthday, wouldn't you??? Have a party for her after you get home.

Yes, that trip would be FAB-U-LOUS, I'm sure! I might have a breakdown though, with my FAVE team in my FAVE place, and that would be embarrassing. I also think it would HAVE to be a family trip, due to my solo trip already, and with school, it's probably not possible. I may call AAA just to see what the price is, and all the 'special' meetings though. It's certainly intriguing, if nothing else.
