Thank you! It was so good! As if a Snickers wasn't bad enough on it's own, someone decided to batter and fry it, then roll it in sugar. It kind of tasted like a funnel cake filled with a Snickers.
Last week I also tried Schoolbread in Norway and ice cream sandwhichs on Main Street (2 giant cookies and 3 scoops of icecream). I am very ashamed to say I ate the whole thing and did not feel good for the rest of the day!

Glad you liked it. My DD got hooked on deep fried Mars bars while studying in New Zealand. She really missed them when she got back to the States. She was so happy to find the Snickers version at Cooke's. I thought I would mention it on the "Snacks" thread since no one else had brought it up and the Doh-bars are so good!

Cause I really could use a few million more calories.........but I'll enjoy 'em!

ok, I am subscribing to this thread now. I want to find out all about these. They sound yummy!

OK, where would one get a said "Doh Bar"???? I'm feeling a quest to try one coming on!

Try a beaver tail in EPCOT's Canadian pavilion. Too good!

Rumor has it that they no longer sell beaver tails :sad2:

I am pretty sure that isn't a Rumor--it is a TRUTH! :sad2:

I never got to try one and am VERY BUMMED that I probably never will.

TLHB70~ Hi, Just wanted to let you know that they have these at our NC State Fair each year. You can get oreo, snickers or Milky Way candy bars. They are sooooo good. I make a trip to the State Fair each year just to get 1 or 2. LOL

Happy to hear that they have them at Disney World.

OMG, I have to try these! Do they have anything other than Snickers? That's just about the one kind of candy bar I'm not too crazy about.....

No, that is the only kind. Snickers aren't my fave, but they get all melty and gooey! So good! I think it was under $3, too.

anyone have a picture of these?
I took pics of most things I ate, but I was so eager to try it, I forgot!
It kind of looks like a corn dog. It is battered and on a stick, rolled in sugar.

Hi Sorul82?... "It's a small world after all!!" Nice to see that I FINALLY found someone on the board from NC that knows where I live. LOL!! Most people have never heard of my sleepy little town. As a little girl, my family and I always ate at a restaurant in Beaver Dam that burned many years ago. In fact, one of my best friends growing up lived in Beaver Dam for a while. Nice to meet ya!! :)

Paintnolish...So sorry to hijack this thread. :)

Cooke's of Dublin is a CS located next door to Raglan Road at the entrance to PI. The Doh-Bars are $2.95 and only come in the Snickers version. The candy bar is dipped in batter, deep-fried and then rolled in granulated sugar. It comes on a stick like a popsicle or corn dog. The candy bar is totally melted, gooey, and VERY HOT, so be careful when you eat it.
