Unless the writers only used the robbery as the catalyst for Linn's, errrr Hobbit's, breakdown. But I have no doubt he'll come back into play. It may take time, but everyone on 24 reappears at one point or another (usually to be killed!)

The show's totally preposterous, but wonderfully entertaining. The best edited show on television hands down.....

I still don't think Dina Araz from last season is dead though. I'm in denial.

As for the keycard, I'm pretty sure it'll come into play. That incident played a small role in Lynn's breakdown (shook him up a bit), but I think the president berating him is the main factor affecting his actions.

ETA: Guess you were referring to Jack at the end of last season now that I'm thinknig about it. But technically he wasn't dead, lol.

Yeah, next week we get Tony and KIM back again. My guess is that Tony will be over the edge when he finds out about Michelle's death. It should be very interesting!

Okay, so far we've seen a Hobbit, a Designing Woman, a vampire (Geraint Wyn Davies, who played Nathanson, starred in Forever Knight), and now Robocop.

In a way, I'm surprised that President Oscar Meyer (Logan, whom DW Lauri refers to as "the weenie") didn't wonder why McGill wasn't on the phone. Of course, with everything happening involving the terrorists and his wife, his mind was other places.

And who else thinks the Russian president suspects something? That look on his face after Martha made the comment about traffic looked like he does.

I don't know why tonights episode bothered me as much as it did but the anxiety it creates inside of me is starting to overwhelm me a bit. Yes I know it's just a television show but the emotional committement this show demands of you is starting to fatigue me. I feel like I need a xanax right now to relax.

And poor Edgar........

Perhaps two hours back to back is just to much to watch at once??

LOL... while on vacation last September, my wife and I watched ALL 24 hours over 5 or 6 nites after the kids went to bed. It was all we could do to shut the TV off each night.

Earlier tonight I was just cursing at the TV during the introduction of the upcoming martial law plotline. The way the President is portrayed as a spineless idiot gets old very quickly (especially when contrasted against David Palmer). I know he was never actually elected on the show, but it really does strain all credibility....

....but I just had to watch the last 15 minutes again. Wow! (Thanks, TIVO!) I thought the best touch of all was having the last three seconds be a silent ending for the first time in the show's history. I thought it was very poignant!

When Kim made her reappearance on the show tonight, I was waiting for the terrorist infiltrator to smuggle in a cougar to go after her.

It may be utterly preposterous, but it's great television. Definitely never boring...

I can't believe they killed off Edgar! What a shock! I am so sad. I just saw him on the Tony Danza show last week talking about his upcoming marriage and new baby on the way. This is not a good time to get killed of of 24!! I really was upset when they killed off President Palmer in the 1st episode this season, but I didn't see this coming at all. I loved the banter between Chloe and Edgar. You never know what will happen next on that show! Another crazy moment tonight is when Jack shot that lady in the leg!

Oh, My, Gosh... We had to TiVo it and watch it late because DD was having trouble with homework, so we just finished it. Unbelievable!!! It was probably one of the best episodes I've seen, although I'm not happy that three of my favorite characters have all died this season (Palmer, Michelle, and now Edgar)! I loved it when Chloe set Kim straight about why Jack didn't tell her he was alive. I had just said the same thing to DH after Jack tried to explain it to her.

Any guesses as to who will make the "ultimate sacrifice" next week? My vote is for Hobbit man. It's all his fault anyway; he needs to redeem himself.
