Who else is watching 24??? (Spoilers possible. Proceed with caution)

OMG. I actually burst into tears at the end of that show. I really liked Edgar and thought he added a lot to the show.

This program really gets to you. I had trouble sleeping last night too. I'm taking it waaaaaaaaaay too personal.

Well at least it was nice seeing Tony move around and Kim looks good. But, man oh man, that final scene was very moving.

What a great 2 hours. I read that there are only 2 characters that have signed for all 24 episodes so really no one is safe. This season has had major surprise deaths (Palmer, Michele and Edgar). I so enjoyed last year without whiny Kim now I guess we are probably stuck with her until the end of the show. Sorry to see Edgar die.

Any guesses as to who will make the "ultimate sacrifice" next week? My vote is for Hobbit man. It's all his fault anyway; he needs to redeem himself.

With Edgar gone, it doesn't matter to me which of them makes that sacrifice, Edgar was my favorite!!!!

As I stated before, with 24 dead is pretty much dead. The only time this wasn't the case was with Jack and the end of season 4, but the audience was in on the deception. Sherry, Nina, David Palmer, Chapelle, Terri, Reza, Dina, Dennis Hopper's Character, Michelle, Gael are just many exampls of characters that have died throughout the seasons. Not one of them have ever returned from the dead. With 24, dead is dead.

In fact out of all these characters, the only one I can see coming back is Dina. Her death was off camera, we saw all the others die.

Also, as for who makes the ultimate scarifice, I'll post speculation about who it is in the Q&A spoiler thread.

They (Prez and Novick) thought the VP was in Utah when he first popped up. I'm guessing that the VP is planning something (possibly with Sec. Heller?)

Anyone else think it would have been so hard to run down to the armory and bring the gas masks up after the other 4 places were hit? Still sucks that edgar is dead. I hated hobbit man from the beginning. I love the line about your embarrassment killed all these people.

Couldn't Rudy the Hobbit have at least attempted to run to the area where the gas masks were after he disabled the computer? Maybe it was too far to get to in one breath or I guess it would have been absorbed into his skin byu then but if it was me, I would die trying instead of just sitting there.

That's what I keep thinking. A former President has been assassinated, terrorists took over a terminal at an airport, they attempted to kill the Russian pres, they've deployed nerve gas with the threat to do more. Why isn't the President surrounded by secret service and in a secure area? And why doesn't the President have more staff on hand to make decisions about this crisis.
