Who else is upset about Bernard not being in SC3??

am i the only one upset about this? he MADE the movies for me! he was my favorite and one of the few reasons i actually watched the movies!

i was so upset to hear that he wouldn't be returning for the last movie! i don't think i'm going to go see it. i wonder what they'll say about him? why he's not there?

i know that the actor has a show he does now, and probably didn't have the time for the movie, but still.......it's Bernard! i love that elf! Bernard and Legolas....the best elves i've ever seen!

I am sad thathe isn't a bigger part of the movie, but maybe he has moved on given the success of Numbers.

And to be honest, the movie doesn't look that good anyway.

I read an interview with David Krumholtz a while back and he said he was sad not to be in it, but he gave the impression that he was not even asked.

yep, no Bernard! the "head elf" now is the kid from the movie The Kid with Bruce Willis. he was in SC2 he was all about the handbook.

i HATE when they do that. that's so stupid. i'd rather them not have him in it at all instead of having a different actor portray him briefly.

the triler for POTC3 will be on the internet within days, so i'm really not all that worried that i'll miss it

You won't believe this but I just told my dad the same thing! I took my niece to see the movie this afternoon and now I'm watching Numbers and thought about how much I missed Bernard. He wouldn't have been hoo-dooed by the bad guy!

It recaps the first 2 and then previews the 3rd. You can clearly see Bernard when they have the "clause" under the microscope although I guess they could have used that from one of the previous movies

it's the one where it says "the first clause was such and such....the second clause was marriage and the third clause....blah blah blah" and that is a scene from the second movie with Bernard.

My DSis13 LOVES David Krumholz and watches SC1 and 2 just for Bernard. She was so mad that he won't be in the 3rd one (and to add insult to injury, Curtis took his job as Head Elf!) that she has boycotted. She won't even watch the commercials. it's quite funny.

Bernard is not in the movie. We saw it last night. It was ok, kind of choppy. Martin Short was good but certainly not as funny as he can be, although he plays a bad guy so that is probably why.

EXACTLY!!! he would have known better! what did they say about him not being there?? i MIGHT watch it when it comes to dvd, but i refuse to spend almost $9 on a movie i know won't be as good as the first 2
