We currently have a WL for a GV at OKW Nov 30th- Dec 8th. We booked a 2 bedroom there which will work too but want to splurge and get a GV for reasonable points. Keeping fingers crossed.... Good luck everyone!

I would be very interested in hearing if your WL comes through. Getting a GV in early December is on my list of things to do at some point.

We are WL for Kidani 2-bedroom SV for Oct 18-23rd. Right now we have the 11-16th booked but need the later dates so my parents can join us .

Surely with all the waits I have seen on this post we ought to be able get together and swap for what we all want...HA HA...

That's what I was thinking? We are on a wait list for a 2 bedroom for BWV and BCV for DEC-10, we have a reservation for grand at SSR for the same time. Our family all decided to stay at BW (none members) after we made our reservation. It would be nice if your idea worked. I would really like it to work out to stay together. How often do wait lists work out? this is also the first time that we had to wait list.

We're on the waitlist for a 2 BR dedicated at both BCV and BLT (SV) for Nov 26th (Thanksgiving!). Not banking on it--we have a 2 BR at SSR for that night. You can have two separate waitlists going at the same time. Whichever one comes through is automatically booked, they will not call you to ask if you still want it.

Zulaya- they did make it seem as though a SSR GV was available for my dates, but like my home resort BLT, the points were pretty steep for me to use in one trip, that is why I am trying for OKW. I will keep you posted if it comes through by responding to this thread.

We are going down for Memorial Day weekend '09 and are staying at BWV (1bdrm) for 22,23 and AKV Jambo (studio savanah) on the 24th. We are WL for AKV...it was split resort or SSR....and with two young kids I just don't think SSR is for us right now.

We also booked our trip for Halloween weekend '09 (10/31, 11/1-2) and found that AKV Kidani isn't available in a 1bdrm. Filling up fast it seems.

Our waitlist for a 1 bdrm BLT lake view for Oct. 4-7th just came thru. We were book at BWV 1 bdrm. We were on the waitlist for just over 2 weeks. I really did not expect it to come thru at all let alone in just two weeks...smjj

Congratulations that is amazing news! Out of interest did you ring Member Services or did it appear on the internet? We are waitlisted for Kidani and I just keep checking the internet and hoping it will appear!

We have a studio reservation for Aug 15-19 at SSR, with a wait list for BLT Lake View and VWL.

No big deal either way - happy with SSR, but would like to try BLT while it's brand new if the WL comes through! (and the idea of Magic Kingdom proximity prompted me to give VWL a go as well).

We already are going down Dec 6-11 at vwl, but some coworkers just asked if they could go, so I called on the 5th and was waitlisted for a 1 bdrm at vwl the same time we are there. Since the 7 month window opened today, it'll be interesting to see if the waitlist comes through right away as people shift around in the window or it stays waitlisted.

It's not a big deal for us, I called for us and our best friends right at the 11 month window and we're in. I think it's a good lesson for the commitment shy coworkers . Although I would love to have them vacation at the same time because they're great people...

I checked the internet(our login acct). They still have not sent the e-mail conformation yet. However when I called Member Services to change our ME to BLT they did confirm it for us. I cant't remember if they said they would send us one or not..smjj

We own at AKV so at 11 months we tried to book Jambo, studio Concierge September 6-14. What was available was September 8-14 AKV Jambo Studio Concierge. So we are waitlisted for AKV Studio Concierge September 6-8. We have booked AKV Jambo studio savannah view for September 6-8 in case we don't get Concierge. I check every single day!! I doubt we'll get it and we ARE happy with what we have booked now, it just would be fun to have a Concierge stay for all 9 days!!!

We are waitlisted for HHI for 6/2 to 6/7 for a studio---we already have a 2 bdrm but have more people coming. Our friends also have a 2 bdrm for the same days and are waitlisted for a GV. Crossing our fingers! I want my living room free when I get up early and everyone else is still asleep!

Just a few more weeks---Can't wait!!!

I had booked my parents in a savanna view studio in Kidani for December 1st and 2nd, waitlisted right at 7 months for a standard view studio at Boardwalk for them. The waitlist came through today!

i booked studio for my son & DIL @ the VWL for 5 nights beginning 12/13

despite my urgings, she doesn't think she'll like the theming, so i'm going to WL for both BLT-standard view & AK savanah Jambo.

do have a feeling somebody will be thrilled w/VWL if they get their wish , funny how it works out that way, good luck to all

update: BLT studios ALL booked for this time period, so i waitlisted for standard...was able to book AKV savannah view though..somebody will be getting WL!

We are currently booked at the VWL for 12 nights from Nov. 24th to Dec.5th (trust me we are not complaining). I got through right at 9am and couldn't get the dates I was looking for in a 1 br. We have waitlisted for the BCV Nov. 29th to Dec 5th.

We got it. I can't believe the wl came through this fast.
