Who else is in waitlist torture? When and Where

We are currently booked at the VWL for 12 nights from Nov. 24th to Dec.5th (trust me we are not complaining). I got through right at 9am and couldn't get the dates I was looking for in a 1 br. We have waitlisted for the BCV Nov. 29th to Dec 5th.
Anyone else in the same boat?
What are your WL dates and resort?

For the first time, we are also on a waitlist and it is torture but like you we are not complaining. We currently have our reservations at BWV one bedroom pool/garden view. We are waitlisted for BLT lake view and AKV 1 bedroom savana view. We are trying to hit a new resort each time we go down. We love our home of OKW and have stayed there quite a few times but just want to try the others to add to the excitement...smjj

I have reservations in a studio at Wilderness Lodge for 11/29-12/5 and called this morning right at 9:00 and waitlisted for a standard view studio at BLT. I know it's a long shot but I thought since there may be rooms released into inventory as people buy in to BLT I would try. They had 3 of the 5 days available but I didn't want to take the chance of the other days coming through since the days missing were in the middle.

A reservation for Sunday & Monday night is confirmed.

Wednesday & Thursday night is confirmed.

So Tuesday night is waitlisted and like the others, it is torture!

I had a one night waitlist come through, but it created a problem for me that I hope will be resolved. Two nights of a reservation were cancelled, no one is to blame but the computer, I have already reported on that. Now I am waitlisted for a standard view studio at AKV for June 17 and 18th.

Reserved SSR at the 11 month window for 11/29-12/3 and called at 9:00 this morning for 2BR BLT, Magic Kingdom View and none available. I was able to get 2BR BLT Lake View and am now WL for BLT MK View. Still happy to get BLT and will wait and see if the WL comes through

I was told the Wait List software is always running reviewing the database for WL requests & comparing to openings.

I do wonder... if 'Joe' has room A booked and is looking to move to room B for the same time frame 'Jane' has room B booked and is looking to move to room A if the system can swap rooms? Doubt it.

August 9 - 14. We currently have a 2-bdrm preferred view at Boardwalk. I'm waitlisted for a Boardwalk view. Booked it way into the 7-month window, so I was lucky to get in at all.

To anyone who has a 2-bdrm Boardwalk view booked for this week, can I take a minute to say how exciting it would be for your family to be one of the first to stay at BLT or Kidani Village?

Can you change ie: take a day off or add a day on to your current WL situation without going to the 'bottom of the list'. Granted any change would be at the very beginning or very end.
Would it stand to reason that if I shortened my current WL by a day or so it would have a better chance of being filled? Or is this just crazy talk.
Oh the possibilites floating around this brain of mine.

We're on a WL for 2 nights in a studio June 13 & 14 at BCV.

We've got one studio at BCV & another at SSR for those nights, but we're trying to get our whole group at BCV since we all check into a 2BR there on June 15.

We are booked at VWL, but I hope our wait list goes through. I really want to check out the new pool and splash area.

We currently have a 1 bed at BLT lake view for 18th and 19th August and want to swap for a 1 bed savannah view at Kidani!!! Any takers?!!!! ha! ha!
I keep checking obsessively but I don't hold out much hope for it coming through!!

I have a 1bdrm at VWL for Nov. 29 - Dec. 5th - had to waitlist the beginning 3 nights, but I own at VWL and was on the waitlist since early February.

However, my waitlist appeared in the middle of the day not first thing in the morning.

Now I'm bummed because I may be losing my job and if that happens I won't be able to use the reservation after waiting almost 3 months for it to come through. I will hold it as long as possible to find out what happens with my job but... who knows.

We are waitlisted for a one bedroom value or a one bedroom standard at AKV. We are currently in a standard studio. The dates are October 12 - 18. Anyone have any luck with AKV waitlists coming through?
