Question for you all going in Aug, do most of you spend the afternoons relaxing by the pool? We have always gone in Feb, which we love, 70 degree weather is perfect park weather for us but we just bought resale contract that is coming with 260 points (130 need to be used by Sept 30) and another 130 coming Oct 1 for a total of 390. I thought once we actually got the points we would try a summer vacation but I am a bit nervous about heat.

This will be our 3rd August trip, with two middle school students we can no longer go during the school year. We pack our suits in a 2 gallon zip-lock and leave what ever park we are visiting, hit a nearby resort for lunch and a dip in the pool, then head back to the park. Our favorites: MK=Poly, HS=CBR, Epcot=BWV.

Thinking that I haven't seen this thread in a while. We are within the 3 month mark now!!

I've actually started "planning" next August's trip . Looking to spend 5 nights at AKV...hoping to snag CL at 11 months....then a 5 night cruise on the Dream (never done that before so I hope it happens!)

Any new August people out there??

we are going to be there 8-26 - 8-28 cape canaveral 8-28 - 9-1 Cruising on the dream 9-1 - 9-5 home sweet home at BWV then one night at pop and then the sad march home

We're in too!! Aug 19 to 30 - my hubby and I are bringing my teenage nieces and one of their friends, currently doing a Split Stay between a 2 bdrm at OKW and a 1 bdrm at BLT...I changed my reservation at the last minute to include the 3 girls so didn't have a lot of selection for the change, we waitlisted a 2 bdrm at BWV and a 2 bdrm at Kidani for the entire stay. I'll be happy with any of the 3 though, I'm not picky and always like trying new places!

Split stay --our first stay at BLT, 8/21 to 8/23, and then to BCV, 8/23 to 8/26
It's the first time we're staying at our "home" resorts--the last time we stayed at BCV we were SSR owners. So "welcome home" to us!

Looked up this thread.....it has been a while!! Our family is within the 1 month mark (4 weeks from yesterday ).

Expecting a heat wave in RI this week (a lot of states actually)....got me thinking about WDW in August!
